Why do I always think that those sailboat always going to roll over while sailing with heavy knots? For example, the catamaran sailboat seems to be more safer on heavy knots.

Actually, only recently cruising catamarans became near reliable as traditional monohulls in harsh weather conditions. I would take a monohull in those conditions over a cat any day
