There is certainly ... something ... about making toys (and especially dolls) for the children we love that is such a balm for the maker's spirit.

Dear Fabs I never get tired to watch your creative hands do their magic. Your hands aren’t a “royal mess” they’re the hands of the queen of fabric dolls they have the sign of “hand work” Thanks to the creation for your beautiful hands.

Wow, I can't believe how skillfully you do everything, such as making the eyes! I'm inspired! Thank you for showing us how to do this. I've made several dolls, but I always panic when I sew the eyes. I love your idea of measuring the ribs so they're the same on each side! I will watch this whole series several times to really learn every step. Thanks again! Your videos are detailed, which is so great. I really appreciate your help.

You're welcome Barbara. I think watching is very helpful to most people but the thing that will truly help you is doing it. Then your hands will get used to the motion, the tension and you will find ways that it work for you. Best of luck and no panic!

@Emmaloulouise4 жыл бұрын
Never mind, I used a red taper candle and it worked wonderfully. Thank you for the tutorial!
@Figandme4 жыл бұрын
We normally use red beeswax block crayons because it disappears from the fabric without leaving an oily trace or staining the fabric. I highly recommend you get a small beeswax crayon, they are quite inexpensive. I used to use the ones I bought for my kids when they were little.
