Nuevamente gracias. Dios te bendiga a ti y tus manos.

When you say right side of stitch, is it the back loop? I'd prefer a less denser cap so I just want to make sure I understand. Thanks for this tutorial, very helpful!
@Figandme2 жыл бұрын
Yes, by inserting it there you make less dense caps. I am happy to hear you found the tutorial helpful.

I don't have the file with me so I can't remember…I make so many videos every month that is hard to keep a check on details like that. But I am pretty sure I found it in the KZbin Audio library.
@sandraott33274 жыл бұрын
How wonderful to see them grow ;-) Your videos are really great and I allways learn something, but could you maybe keep the writen instructions a little bit longer on the screen? Then I wouldn't have to go back all the time :-D I allways start the wig from the inside, but in the end its not as thight as I'd love them. Will try your way next time.
@Figandme4 жыл бұрын
HI Sandra, thank you for watching my videos. Yes, I could certainly do that, but I feel when the instruction stays too long people don't look at the actions on the video…and I want them to do both. Perhaps I should put a little note at the beginning, instructing people to pause the video when there is a little note, so they can read at their leisure and then press play to actually watch the motion. Thank you so much for your kind feedback.

I'm loving following this series. Thank you so much for sharing it. Can I ask if there are instructions for knitting the wig cap for those of us who have never managed to get the hang of crochet...?
@Figandme4 жыл бұрын
No written instructions that I know of but if you know how to knit a small little beanie, that would fit the doll quite snuggly, then do it like that. I use crochet because it is more "stiff" than knitting, which is very elastic, so when you brush the wig cap it stays put in the shape, while the knitted one stretches a bit more. Knowing this, you could knit at a tighter gauge or use a stitch that produces comparable results to crochet.

Great video! How well does mohair work for dolls made for little one (under 3s)? I used a soft wool yarn for my daughter's doll since I didn't have the money for mohair. Also what kind of Bush do you use for brushing out the hair?
@Figandme3 жыл бұрын
I personally don't recommend dolls with mohair hair for children under 3, because they still put a lot of their toys in their mouth and mohair sheds and has long fibers. If you still wanted to use it, I would make a hat and never take it off the doll until your daughter is older. To tease the fibers you use a micro or mini carder (or a clean wire pet brush). To brush I use use a normal bristle brush or a baby hair brush.
@emilybach3 жыл бұрын
@@Figandme Thanks for letting me know! I'll wait on working with the mohair for a while then. :)
