Spectacular scenery and what an amazing encounter. Very nice cutthroat too. This little video had my heart leaping towards the coming Spring and Summer, where I will enjoy using the products that you made for me and which I just received today.

Sweet Video! Planning on doing two trips this year one in late May and one in late june. Any tips you can give me on the trail and fishing spots?

May is on the early side for the Sawtooths...generally, most spots don't clear out of snow till late June and the high passes are not open until around Fourth of July. Bugs are also a good bit worse in the early season with any standing water from snowmelt. The Trail does have one creek crossing, would expect​ it to be high in early season....I have not done it any earlier than August....so be ready for that.

Yea I live by BSU! I'm just getting into backpacking and hammock camping. And now hopefully tenkara fishing lol. This video has REALLY got me excited about getting out for some hikes. I will defiantly be buying some hammock stuff from you. (and support a local business) I am dreaming of making it to the annual hang, but don't think I will be able to get the time off from work. Just want to thank you for this vid and your others, and I think it's really cool that you are in the Treasure Valley as I have heard arrowhead equip. mentioned on a couple of hammock videos. Keep it up!

kellyOCD Very cool. Idaho is the perfect place for Hammocks and Tenkara. With a little luck I am headed out to do some Tenkara tomorrow....might be shooting some video of some products....if I can get that motivated. ;) I do a number of hikes every year and open them up for anyone that want to come along....the Hang in September is the big event but there are lots of other trips throughout the sumer and into the fall. Holler if you want to go sometime.

kellyOCD We are actually working out the details to do a Spring hang...probably on the south fork of the Boise...near or at Bumgartner camp ground. Probably the last weekend in May...the one right after Memorial day weekend. If your interested your more than welcome to join. So far there looks like folks from 5 states other than Idaho will be there and lots of hammocks and gear to check out...Car camping, BYOB, Pot Luck, day hikes and lots of fishing.
