I think if you've just gotta have a Fender Custom Shop, that's cool, but if you just want that style of Tele, Hansen seems like a pretty good choice to support independent luthiers and get a hand-built guitar.

When COVID (and stuff) first took Rob out of these vlogs, I kept hoping for his return. After watching more and more older vids, it looks like Lee Is having much more fun with Pete. Maybe it's because Pete does the editing lol. There were lots of instances where an annoyed looking Lee appeared to bite his tongue in the older vlogs.

Started to listen , clicked on price , stopped listening . So many boutique makers out there but they seem to have to keep to the formula , just another great tele , strat , les Paul , super Strat , our fault really , as guitar players we are so very conservative , the shape , pick up configuration , colour etc has to be just so , only duesenburg seem to be coming up with original but desirable instruments , I’m sure there’s more but they are the only ones which spring to mind 🤔😊 ... must remind myself this is just a great shopping channel after all 🤣

@@isitreallyisitreally1756 Rickenbacker really do they own thing. I have a vintage 4001 and newer 4003 Bass and both are so very different to a Fender or any other Bass guitar. Funnily enough, the Bass market seems to be more original in general when it comes to designs...

I really like Chappers. But except for good humour and funny videos, he never really did much for me in the Andertons videos. No offense. Lee always seemed a bit apologetic and shy about his own playing, when jamming with Rob. But Pete somehow always gets the best out in Lee, and his playing is just so much more beautiful and full of emotion, when they are playing together. I love it! Rob is more of a metal head, and Lee and him together has always (to me) kinda been an akward match - but Pete and Lee just fit together perfectly! Their personalities, their playing styles/tone and their love for Mayer😉 #gayformayer No hate here, just an observation.

Lee had the opinion he wasn’t able to get any better up until sometime after Pete came along or they started doing the captain meets episodes. He’s been taking playing way more seriously and has been getting lessons. His improvement is a bit inspiring

I've got 4 drive pedals that I use & mix between them - its a Thorpy Dane, a Greer Lightspeed, a Pogo Zen Ray & a Nobels Mini ODR. All the low gain stuff is the Lightspeed, plus I think I have the Pogo on a low setting for a bit of grit too. Its the same 4 pedals in almost every video... I use a GFI Specular Tempus for delay. Hope that helps.

Please try "finger tapping" on the body of Pete's double bound T-style. In my experience the Mahogany bodies are chambered.. Thus the light weight guitar.

Nope. Not chambered. Well obviously the Thinlines, but the mahogany used is just light weight. (Have three Hansen and had the pleasure of being part of the process from plank to guitar.

Hansen is Henning and another guy. Both lovely fellas. Privileged to have them as my local luthiers. I do most of my own work on my guitars now but when my own abilities do not suffice it's my first port of call even if there is a wait. kzbin.info/www/bejne/npyneqhnmZZkjJo to see one in action in the hands of Danish/Welsh lady who also does the colour coordination thing. Hope to see her live in a couple of weeks. The beer bottle imprint is Albani - Fyn's biggest brewery and far superior to that Copenhagen crap. Albani does brewery tours too. Also don't forget Egeskov slot, which is almost in Henning's back garden.
