I just got my Adder TS35-384 from Outdoor Legacy and it is incredible for 2500 dollars. Comes with a 200 dollar quick attach mount by American Defense too! I just want to say how user friendly this scope is, magnification is controlled by rotating the left dial, reticle change by pushing the left dial, and pallette change by a single push button on top of the eyepiece. All without even entering the menu!! (after you set it up of course). The menu itself has so many options with the several reticle groups and each group has 5 independent reticle setups with each listing the range you select. Thank you Jason! You and Hans are top tier!!

I’ve been hunting with a night vision scope with red & green lights and while this setup works my gut told me thermal was the way to go. I set out to find local dealers in my area so I could do a 1st hand comparison however, that proved impossible only one retailer had a thermal. Then it was an internet research project into thermal optics to determine what would work best for my hunting application. The following is a list of things I needed from the scope. 1) price 2) warranty 3) 3-4x base magnification 4) resolution. For my hunting application I wanted a scope I could ID and make shots at 300 yds. My flat shooting varmit rifle, a model 700 Remington chambered in a .204 Ruger sitting on a tripod deserves a good scope. The .204 makes quick work of targets to 300 with ease and shoots like a laser with 2” of bullet drop @ 300. After several hours of internet search and videos about thermal scopes I chose the AGM Adder TS50-384. The team at Outdoor Legacy had several AGM videos comparing different scopes and a few side by side comparisons of different models. Scope performance of the TS50-384 and base magnification was the top 2 deciding factors in my choice of AGM scopes. My AGM Adder arrived; I sighted in to 300 yds. with 4 shots and 5 to confirm. I’m sure I could have sighted in with fewer shots if I were more tech savvy however; I was pleased seeing it was my 1st thermal experience. I used the Adder the 1st night for a few hours out back on a corn field just to get some time with the scope, I knew we didn’t have any yotes around the house. The 1st night out about 7:15 a yote came in to my caller however; he didn’t pause long enough for me to get a shot. About 20-30 minutes later a 2nd yote came in about 150 yds out, and he never left. I couldn’t be happier with my AGM Adder TS50-384 the clarity to ID and detect are outstanding and I couldn’t be more pleased with the help and customer service I have received from the team at Outdoor Legacy. If you want a badass thermal for yotes the AGM Adder fills the bill.

Love videos and TRUST yall's opinion! I'm going to replace my XM38 next yr. I also own an xq35lrf pro. I've been considering switching brands because of price, American defense are only mounts, but do own 3 of them, icluded on Adder is very enticing. . After owning Pulsar since 2019, would I regret switching brands? I'm pretty impressed with 384 technology over my 320. Im loving the $3000 price range too. I always thought about 640 when I replace myThermion, but I was not willing to go up to $4000. I'm a Midwest yote hunter. Though gonna move out of Illinois within next 2yrs, politics and gun restrictions are the reason. More than likely, Georgia or Florida. What's your thoughts on my brand contemplation?

@n2shooter
@n2shooter Жыл бұрын
You wanna know a dirty secret? Most of the scopes in this price range use the same internals. Just look at the screens for the AGM Monoculars and the lower res ones from ATN. They are identical, just with different optics, cases and different power options. Now, of course, this isn't across the respective companies entire line up, but AGM, Bering, HIK Micro are just rebranding the exact same scope with firmware that adds their logo on the startup screen. If you don't believe me, take a look at the user manual for the various brands of thermal monoculars, and you can see the icons are identical. The same goes for some of the scopes. The ones you see get pushed the hardest are the ones who's wholesale price is the cheapest. That's why you don't see many push the ATN scopes. I run ATN Thermal and Day/Night scopes, as they are the only scope in this price range with built-in Ballistic Calculators. If you shoot a flat round, like the 6.5 Creedmoor, it may not matter to you. But I use high power .30cal airguns for pest control in residential areas, and I keep sub MOA at 100+ yards. Pulsar, Trijicon and IRay more or less engineer their own stuff.
