Gotta say it...I'm in my 60s and I LOVE this song. I respect these guys to some great depths, simply cos they have NEVER turned away from this song. Many groups stop playing their older hits due to them sounding so "juvenile" for them as adults. I APPLAUD Hanson for continuing to play this song in concerts or live TV showings.

Really like this version...maybe more than the original studio version way back in 1997 when these three guys kind of came out of nowhere with this signature song, when they were just very young long haired lads. I was already in my early 30's by then, but this song had me Mmm bopping & jamming to it like a teenager when it came on the radio ! This version is so cool with the orchestra & some semi-accapella vocals particularily by Taylor in the beginning. Sounds so good ! Makes me love the song all over again. Nice to see their talent and interest in creating, playing & performing music has endured.

My dad introduced Hanson to my sister and I when we were both 9 and 10, we don't have a relationship with our dad as adults now, but I will forever be thankful to him for giving us this musical gift of brothers whom we still love. I consider Hanson the first music I listened to that was during my era prior to that we were only allowed to listen to oldies like Temptations, Jackie Wilson, Stevie Wonder and Jackson 5 which I am so thankful for. But when these boys came into my life everything changed it felt familiar with a touch of a something new. #foreverafanson

*_LYRICS BELOW_* I never could understand what they were saying, but the lyrics to this song are pretty amazing, considering how young they were when they wrote this (Zac was just 8 years old when it was written, and 12 when the world heard it). "In an mmmbop they're gone". Powerful: "MMMBop" Oh Oh oh oh Oh oh oh oh Yeah You have so many relationships in this life Only one or two will last You go through all the pain and strife Then you turn your back and they're gone so fast Oh yeah And they're gone so fast, yeah Oh, so hold on the ones who really care In the end they'll be the only ones there And when you get old and start losing your hair Can you tell me who will still care? Can you tell me who will still care? Oh care Mmmbop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du, yeah-e-yeah Mmmbop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du, yeah-e-yeah Said oh yeah In an mmmbop they're gone Yeah yeah Plant a seed, plant a flower, plant a rose You can plant any one of those Keep planting to find out which one grows It's a secret no one knows It's a secret no one knows Oh, no one knows Mmmbop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du, yeah-e-yeah Mmmbop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du, yeah-e-yeah **In an mmmbop they're gone In an mmmbop they're not there In an mmmbop they're gone In an mmmbop they're not there Until you lose your hair Oh but you don't care, yeah Mmm bop, ba duba dop ba do bop Ba duba dop ba do bop Ba duba dop ba do, yeah yeah Mmm bop, ba duba dop ba do bop Ba duba dop ba do bop Ba duba dop ba do, yeah yeah** Can you tell me? Oh No you can't 'cause you don't know Can you tell me? Oh yeah You say you can but you don't know Can you tell me? Oh (Which flower's going to grow?) No you can't, but you don't know Can you tell me? (If it's going to be a daisy or a rose?) You say you can but you don't know say you can but you don't know You don't know how, you don't know how Mmmbop, duba Du bop, du Yeah, yeah Mmmbop oh yeah duba Du bop, du Oh yeah Mmmbop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du, yeah-e-yeah Mmmbop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du, yeah-e-yeah Mmmbop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du, yeah-e-yeah Mmmbop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du, yeah-e-yeah **Skipped these lyrics in this version

This is the song my now 26-year-old son sang repeatedly when he was six years old. He would do a perfect imitation of Taylor, including facial expressions and body movements, in front of our piano daily. As an individual with autism, he had a remarkable ability to remember every detail of their music, and can still identify every song they have produced within seconds of hearing the first bars of the music. He only 7 years old when he first saw them in concert for his birthday, and has seen them multiple times since. We recently saw the concert in Cleveland, and he loved it! Thanks for providing such amazing music that my entire family loves!
