The inside/right side of that width coil 5:50 looks like someone has either worked on it or is it corrosion!

ah that's just plastic discoloration and age. Width coil was perfectly fine

I don't mean the red plastic. I was referring to the enameled wire. There looks to be something stuck to it. @@8bitmanshed
