👌🙏✊ Like Torah, Tanach, Bible, Koran are realities for the mid west & west, So are the Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagwatam, Puranas, ... the ancient history of th Bharatiya subcontinent. Not mythology. Its stories vary slightly frm place to place, adding local legends, flavors & inputs which only shows how ancient th values n beliefs are. The question is not if the stories r to be believed, th question is, are the values worth believing & following? Th current story f Ramayana is not f a warrior king, its th story f a perfect human. So perfect that, we believe that God himself came in th form f a human to demonstrate by practice how humans can follow virtuosness & keep perfect character even in th worst f conditions. Every character in th story of Rama, every situation & every conversation shows simplicity, exemplary dedication n high moral values, Dashrata & his promise to 1 f his 3 wives Shravan kumar & his blind parents curse Rama & his younger brothers Janak's daughter Sita Sita's swayam-vara & marriage Ramas exile, Laxmana & Sita's dedication to Rama Dashrata's demise & Bharata's dedication to Rama Kidnapping f Sita, Jatayu's sacrifice Ramas grief & travel across India in search f Sita, Hanumana meeting Rama, Sugreeva & Vaali, Hanumana meeting Sita, Building the Rama Setu & clash with Ravana, Ravana's great intellect, knowledge, strength & his pride, Ravanas pride crushed n slayed Rama's return to Ayodhya & his coronation. Through all this Rama is Maryada-Purush-Uttama Rama, perfect son-brother-student-husband-friend-ruler etc. A great art begins with & made up of 70%Great Intention, 20% Great message n thn comes th 5% story, script & 5% portraying, acting etc. Th Ramayana is nothing less than th most interesting poems ever written wth Greatest intention & Great lessons fr futures generations that care to keep it alive.
