I really love your videos! She did a really good job here, sticking to the lyrics, as written in the original, and such. Daneliya did give it quite a little different presentation styling than Taylor Swift did. I did some research online and it seems like Taylor wrote the song hinting at her ex-boyfriends and the relationships that she left with them. The media apparently kept painting her in a bad light, so when Taylor says she “did something bad”, it was about how the media was portraying her and her leaving the relationship. So, Taylor left toxicity behind and that “felt good”, which is why she “would do it over and over and over again, if I (she) could..”. Then the song goes into talking about burning witches even of she isn’t one and setting them on fire (“light me up”) and that kind of thing. It does have that kind of “I don’t give a ____” attitude. Taylor didn’t care how people thought about her decision. It was just fine with her she was happy with it. Daneliya was able to really put a lot of attitude into the song and I bet she had a lot of fun singing with that sassy presentation. As you keep following her music/movie/modeling career (yes, she does all three), you will find a huge diversity of styles and techniques that Daneliya is an indisputable master at utilizing. She is unique, in the extreme. Wrapping up, I know that AGT is blocking a lot of performances of a lot of artists. One thing that many of the reaction video commentators tell me is that Daneliya’s channel is pretty reaction friendly, as long as you make the required pauses and give proper credits and such. It looks like a lot of the covers and such on her channel are good content to consider. Thanks for your honest and enlightening comments. As a fan, I really appreciate the support that you give her and her music. I look forward to seeing you on the next video.

I love the attitude/swag that she has in this one. Insane that she can do this as a 14 year old. She is literally a polished professional already. I don't know if she is signed to a label, but I have heard that she has turned down a number of offers. No idea if that is true though, and I suspect that if it is true, she may be biding her time while she finishes school. The future is bright!

Why does she need a label? She and Billie Eilish should collaborate on an album where Eilish writes songs specifically for her and she sings them. I bet every song she ever releases in this country hits #1 on Billboard, maybe first week, and the only songs that will replace them are newer songs by her. The BEP's 26 straight weeks at #1 with two songs is a record that is going to fall. She could wind up at #1 on Billboard for several years running.

AGT has rights to her for the next 18 months. She's letting that burn off. Personally I'd like to see her play Piper in Emergence. She'd be perfect for that role but it would cost ABC $5 million to buy out Cowell before the 18 months is up. She's home, in school, and will be free in two years. Then watch out.

I Did Something Bad I never trust a narcissist But they love me So I play 'em like a violin And I make it look oh, so easy 'Cause for every lie I tell them They tell me three This is how the world works Now all he thinks about is me I can feel the flames on my skin Crimson red pain on my lips If a man talks shit, then I owe him nothing I don't regret it one bit, 'cause he had it coming They say I did something bad Then why's it feel so good? They say I did something bad But why's it feel so good? Most fun I ever had And I'd do it over and over and over again if I could It just felt so good, good I never trust a playboy But they love me So I fly him all around the world And I let them think they saved me They never see it coming What I do next This is how the world works You gotta leave before you get left I can feel the flames on my skin He says, "Don't throw away a good thing" But if he drops my name, then I owe him nothing And if he spends my change, then he had it coming They say I did something bad Then why's it feel so good? They say I did something bad But why's it feel so good? Most fun I ever had And I'd do it over and over and over again if I could It just felt so good, good It just felt so good... They're burning all the witches, even if you aren't one They got their pitchforks and proof Their receipts and reasons They're burning all the witches, even if you aren't one So light me up (light me up), light me up (light me up) Light me up, go ahead and light me up (light me up) Light me up (light me up), light me up (light me up) Light me up (light me up), light me up... They say I did something bad Then why's it feel so good? They say I did something bad But why's it feel so good? Most fun I ever had And I'd do it over and over and over again if I could It just felt so good, good Oh, you say I did something bad Then why's it feel so good, good? So bad, why's it feel so good? @@peterhowells7309 Not at all. Neither of those two are even in her area code. Her musical future is set but the way she's approaching moving to America is a recipe for disaster. I know, I'm a nobody, a rando, a loser, she's world famous, I'm obsessed, I need to shut up, and will, but when what I think is going to happen to her does, and it's going to be awful, don't say it wasn't foreseeable. She and her family take way too much at face value an in America that's a recipe for disaster. She'll say she was well intentioned and maybe she is but the road to hell is paved with them. This has nothing to do with my love of her music, and she's not my responsibility. I truly pity those for whom she is. Time will prove me right.

Funny but what many are saying in the comments here seem to be exactly what is happening to me also. After hearing Daneliya sing and watching her performances I can't seem to find pleasure in listening to many other artists anymore. Even if I try to find other talents to watch when I run out of Daneliya videos to play because it looks like I've already seen them all and mostly many times already, I just watch the other videos partly and jump right back to the same Daneliya videos I've already seen before. Jeesh ... I think I'm addicted and I don't want a cure, lol. Danya is my happy pill.

Literally the best experience of my life, musicla or otherwise, was the evening I was awakened by AGT after having left NBC on after the news. This has happened many times, and usually I rush to turn off the channel before it pollutes my ears. This time I madee it about an inch towards my computer when I stopped and said "Who the F**K is THAT?" Not only was I not prepared for her greatness, I have a very strong dislike of these talent shows that usually have trained-screamers who can hit notes and do nothing else. Now I don't even listen to any other singers. there's no point.
@kenmclemore523

I suspect the "gotcha" nature of the Taylor Swift lyrics put this out of bounds for AGT in that the producers and Simon Cowell would not want to create a platform for Taylor's vent and controversy as a result. And, the song did not represent a message Daneliya wanted to deliver in that venue. I think you are on point in that Daneliya wanted to have some fun after AGT and this is it. Enjoyed it. KDM

I was posting so much praise to her channel that I started a facebook group the Cult of Daneliya for all my postings about her, with links to her songs and songs I'd like to see her cover, and links to any news. I hope it becomes the #1 place to find anything related to her (I built it more for myself than for anyone). I no longer listen to any other singer there's no point. In hypnosis, there is something called a "seal" where a hypnotist is SO good you literally cannot go into trance to anyone else (until someone better comes along). That can be done because the hypnotized person is conditioned to obey the hypnotist. A seal is not supposed to be possible with music (what she is doing is more the opposite of hypnosis), yet she has. W're supposed to have favorite songs ands singers, not a singer who is so good that everyone else is bad by comparison. It's like what Bobby Fischer did to chess. facebook.com/groups/cultofdaneliya

The franchise AGT, or GT and you put in your countries initial. Anyway if you are showing any of the judges stuff they get real territorial about that stuff for some reason. Or you are showing too much of the interview before the song. So anything other than just the actual performance needs to be cut out. To the performance, I am not a fan of T. Swiffer at all, but if anyone can make me like a song written by someone I don't care for, it's Daneliya. Let's listen. Well somebody is not a little girl anymore is she!!! My only concern is if she moving to fast. She has dealt with subject matter beyond her years before with, 'Love On The Brain' and 'Pretty Hurts' but this is different she is getting to the age where opportunities, good and bad, start to offer themselves to young men and women. So I worry for her that her apparent growing up will get taken the wrong way. Now the only advantage might be she lives in a place where behaving yourself is still observed. But if she actually finds her way to the states too soon..........? Well she does a great job with the song. I forced myself to listen to the original artist and believe me she kicked the crap out of that version. Daneliya gets ahold of a song and she takes it to the woodshed as we used to say. People may remember who wrote it but it will be Daneliya's version people will be humming to themselves. Thanks for the reaction.

Interesting points, David. One thing, I think, will help keep Daneliya directed is her mother's guidance. She does helicopter, if you notice the recent Q&A Danya did on IG; her mom was in the room actually kibitzing while Danya answered questions. I thought it was hilarious; but, it also reminded me Danya is still a teenager and, brilliant as she is in so many ways, she still needs some guidance. KDM
