Hi just wipe any food with wet paper towel. Do not bathe at the moment. When they are fully feathered you can mist them with a spray bottle. Do not use shampoo unless you have to. We do not use shampoo, we used it just the once as Hapi was not used to our water and got really flakey. After shampoo we used water with aloe Vera to sooth his skin but now we just mist with warm water.

They are little charmers. We find Hapi to be playful, inquisitive and quite independent. He generally calls for us in the morning but during the day is happy to play with his toys, eat, poop, sleep and whistle. Lovely birds.

Parrot formula we had bought from the breeder. It comes in powder form and is mixed with warm water. We then fed this to our parrot through a syringe. Watch our recent video for more info 😊 Now we feed him banana, peppers, sweet corn, peas, carrots basically any veggies he likes and his parrot mix. Hope that helps!

I think you should have started solid a few months ago. Try hand feeding him banana, leave a bowl of parrot mix in his cage, maybe try feeding him soft boiled veg or lentils. Avoid fatty foods, oily foods and foods high in salts and sugar.

Are you misting him with water if it is hot in your country? If not maybe do that. Also make sure he is eating a well balanced diet. If it is hot, some shedding of feathers is normal as it is your birds way of cooling down. We had this scare a month ago and took him to the vets.
