By the way, I'm a disabled senior living alone with my 2 sweet therapy dogs. I'm blessed with 17 grandchildren, 7 of whom are great grandchildren. Yet I'm still in therapy for abandonment issues. As a child I was always on my own, never having anyone have my back. At your age, Riley, I was this lonely young girl standing all alone at the edge of the world.
