Jessica, you really show how much you love your grandma going out of your way. A day she will always remember. You look so beautiful and congratulations to the 2 of you.

THAT WAS SO SWEET....I MYSELF MADE A NEW BEST FRIEND AFTER MY NEW NEIGHBORS MOVED IN NEXT DOOR. HER OLDEST SON , I THINK HES 6? IDK ( I WAS OUTSIDE WITH MY 5 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER) SO HE CAME OVER TO ME AND ASKED IF MY LITTLE SISTER CAN HAVE AN ICE POP. I SAID NO SWEETY SHES MY DAUGHTER AND THE LOOK ON HIS FACE WAS PRICELESS 😂 I DO NOT LOOK 38. THEN ONCE HE FOUND OUT THAT THE GUY HE WAS TALKING TO WAS MY SON, OH BOY IT JUST GOT FUNNIER😂😂😂😂 MY SONS 21 BTW...HE JUST REFUSED TO BELIEVE THAT I HAD KIDS. HE SAID NO WAY YOUR WAY TO YOUNG. SO I TOLD HIM WE'RE BEST FRIENDS ❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂

Never take anything for granted...I ripped my hip and pinched the sciatica nerve, I was basically handicapped for months. I spiraled into a deep hole of depression because I thought my life was over, but I used ice baths to heal it. The point is I took walking for granted and I never will again

It’s not ‘all that matters’. Had she actually been 13 at the time, the abuse she would have suffered as a child would surely matter. This isn’t something to be glossed over so you feel all non judgmental.

I've just turned 40, my kids are 24 and 21 I had them at 16 and 19, I've raised incredible kids. My son just purchased his first house. My daughter has learning difficulties and has learnt a load of independent living skills. I'm so proud of them both. I showed them education is important by going to college and university and settling a good example despite being a teen mum.

Good Job Dad!! Showing her some emotion would add to her sense of support. It’s a big deal what you helped accomplish. I assume the mom was doing the camera work. Congratulations to all.

How wonderful these cochlear implants are. I cry every time I see babies get them but even more seeing a 14 year old receive the gift of sound. Gob bless the person that invented these❤

Is the hearing aid work all the time or the person can control the hearing ability? I can imagine it will be overwhelming coming from silence and peace to noisy pollution 24/7. I’m happy for her 😊.

Oh I’m crying with you!! Enjoy your NEW LIFE!! ✝️ My 6yr old grandson has severe hearing loss in one ear and moderate to severe in the other. He just got his ‘magic ears’ a yr ago. I was there when the Dr put them in his ears. It was complete silence. I said Hi Logan! Can you hear Grandma? He had the biggest smile, nodded yes and we all were crying a few tears! Please be persistent with your adult kids if you think Drs aren’t addressing concerns about possible disabilities. I believe he got ‘lost’ and the tests he had weren’t accurate or excused away.
