Really grateful for the analysis of the hiararchy of desire with practical goods leading to virtue.

I really enjoyed Dr. Frey’s insights. Thank you. Especially helpful was her description of Aristotle’s limitations, while she still admits that he has some good insights. Also I like the way that she connects the virtues to particular passions and capacities. Very helpful.

I think I don't I have a robust understanding of what good or goodness is. I don't really have the intellectual chops to read Aquinas. What other good sources could I read that discuss goodness in relation both to God's being and the practical aspects in human life?

I know they made the distinction, but I don't find those two aspects unrelated. But what blew my mind open was reading St. Julian of Norwich

Pretty sure Gregory would beat a scientologist in a staring contest.
