If you think about it in that context, It could explain why Saki and Ichika, Toyua and Akito, and Tsukasa and Rui are all still together (even though it's explained why I'm sure, It still seems interesting considering how close these 3 duos are in the base game and even in the april fools event) they could have always been intended to be in the same group meaning they stayed the same throughout the whole thing, It would also make sense that for a first attempt at grouping they'd put characters like Airi and Ena together as they're good friends, plus the sibling combo of Shiho and Shizuku! also all the boys together just makes sense as a whole unit, honestly with that perspective it actually makes more sense, if done originally like this from the start, It would immediately touch on Kanade's troubles with Exercise, and would have Emu figuring out Mafuyu's faking it, lord theres so much to merit this djhvusvhnhj

This group is one that I feel would have the most interesting story to tell, partially due to how inexperienced and somewhat unfit they are. Haruka would be finding a new goal similar to her old one, Mafuyu is a good leader that would have difficulty tapping into happy thoughts, and Kohane is the fangirl. Is it weird I kinda like this version of Haruka more than the original, in a way? Lol Next would be the boys lol.

I knew that emu wanted mafuyu to smile truly, but since mafuyu is a unpredictable, and “scary” girl when in her truest emotions, she’s too afraid to express it in words so she tries in little actions, that don’t really work most of the time.

My favorite unit is a joke :D That aside I wanna make a unit story for them, the scene where Mafuyu gets accepted woulda been cool af 👀 I feel like here, instead of completely being monotonic, Mafuyu instead uses a personality that is balanced between her honor student personality and true personality. One thing I’m trying to figure out is how Mafuyu is able to get away with working at a theme park in this AU. It’s already been established that her mom sees most recreational activities as a waste of time; and this isn’t really a kind of job you can do in secret. My best guess is that Mrs. Asahina only approved because she thought her daughter associating with a wealthy and influential family like the Otoris would give her an advantage in college enrollment.

I mean mafuyu does do archery in the regular timeline, so Im guessing she is allowed some leeway if its a school-sponsored activity, which she mentions this is. A similar reason is given for her volunteering in the twilight festival event as well

what I like most about this is Mafuyu and Emu. I could totally see a world where this is the actual unit and it would be really cool to have the same Main Story twist where Empty SEKAI is Mafuyu's world and then to have that part play out similarly (with white miku banishing the others at mafuyu's request and whatnot) but the part after it would be very different. It wouldn't work as well for a rhythm game because Niigo's story is centered around music and in this case with HSSSW, Emu would take the role of Kanade so it would probably be centered around the circus. But wither way it sounds like a cool alternate universe WAIT EDIT BECAUSE I HAVE AN EVEN COOLER IDEA So Emu already in canon is the only one who sees through Mafuyu's persona and that's why she's scared of her, so what if that dynamic stayed like it does in these interactions, but then once the others find Untitled and it leads them to Empty Sekai (trust me on this, no other Sekai work for this group and no other groups could have Empty Sekai, it has to stay with Mafuyu), Mafuyu could be with them and pretending she doesn't know where they are or what is happening, but then Emu (maybe with the help of Miku) would figure out that it was created by Mafuyu's hidden emotions I can't really think of what Haruka and Kohane do in any of these scenarios though lol, I can imagine Kohane having her own storylines but tbh I think the unit might work better with a different character other than Haruka for the fourth member (probably Rui since I don't think the circus stuff works without him very well, but then that's too much purple with him and Mafuyu lol)

Haruka would be the determined motivator, she may not be great at creating contraptions like Rui, but atleast her dedication and (along with Emu) creativity, she does make the Wonder Stage shine bright Oh and most likely, if the circus finds out Mafuyu's secret, it'll most likely go that they'll all be confused (except for Mafuyu who'se playing along the confusion) Another thing is that the vocaloid KAITO wont be aggressive as he is in N25, instead he'll most like be the less sarcastic version of Luka, being quite down to earth but still is respectful Also, this leads to Emu creating a new goal: "To Paint Asahina-senpai's World!" (why does this sound like Emu's 4*💀)

Another thing, having Emu to communicate with Ms Asahina would be quite easy (for Ms. Asahina) since she probs know that Emu's family owns the Otori Group Of Companies (as mentioned by Tsukasa), and that she'd be quite glad to have a "conversation" with Emu Emu here would be quite anxious, knowing that she's that anxiety inducing trauma feeding witch who hides in a mother's skin,

In terms of the second reply, I think mid-way, if Emu was speaking to Ms. Asahina, this could go two ways: 1) Emu would be traumatized completely at the trade-off of knowing the influential correlation between both Ms. Asahina and Mafuyu, and knowing why Mafuyu is scary in the first place; 2) Emu holds her stance to why theater is important to Mafuyu (she might be direct by saying/slipping that it's to make her smile) at the trade-off of still being scared. But I think the best person of this April Fools unit to speak to Ms. Asahina would be Haruka because she is well composed and could outsmart Ms. Asahina, or cooperate with Emu to help Mafuyu. And yes, "Paint Asahina-senpai's World" does sound like a 4* Emu card.

@@PrisonMike196 Well, even if they don’t know, unlike Nightcord, who allow her to basically treat them really badly and don’t do anything to ask her to be nicer, these people are accepting of her without being overly sensitive. Plus, as the group may spend more time together, they will all figure out the truth and give her the proper treatment. Some members like Ena and even Mizuki to an extent treat Mafuyu really badly sometimes and just make the problem worse. With Haruka, Kohane and Emu, they would not snap at her the same way someone like Ena would.

I thought about this during my voice acting practice yesterday. We were doing an exercise where people would read the same script with different emotions suggested by the others in the group. When it was my turn to read, one person suggested "empty," just because they thought it would be interesting. After I finished reading, that person asked me if I was okay.
