We have sweet potatoes growing in our garden and when we harvested them after 6 months it produced something just as small as yours! They were also found at the bottom of our garden container so We had to actually dump out all the dirt to see there were 4-5 growing. We waited another 3 months and the potato came out decently sized! Good luck!
