As a Canadian, and OG Who fan, I was born in '72. We actually had Dr. Who on a provincial TV channel called TVO. And I actually remember EXACTLY where I watched Tom regenerate. I was extremely confused and hugely disappointed. My mom and brother remember me watching the Tom seasons and dismissed them simply as scary, science fiction. Tom was and always will be my favorite.
