I Live For Your Love is my favourite Natalie Cole song. Her voice, the phrasing..... it was hers, and she. Owned. It. Congratulations! And …you got to Natalie Cole! Yay! She was the only female vocalist to rival Aretha Franklin in the ‘70’s/‘80’s for the Queen of Soul tag. She had a great career spanning five decades and many musical genres. “I’ve Got Love on My Mind” and “Our Love” are other great early hits of hers. She also released a double disc live album in 1977 which is spectacular start to finish!

Aretha had won the Grammy for "Best Female R&B Performance" every single year since the category's inception, eight years in a row, until Natalie snatched the crown from her for "This Will Be". I imagine the Queen of Soul was not amused.

Aretha had no rivals vocally whatsoever. Natalie loved Aretha and was highly influenced by her. Matter of fact this song was originally for Aretha but she declined them. MORE NATALIE PLEASE!!! I grew up listening to her during my early teens and into the disco clubs. She has so many get songs for you to listen to as she was huge during the 70-80's disco age. One of my favorites is "I've got love on my mind". If you want to hear her do something slower, check out the duet she did with her father, "Unforgettable". Anniversary

Natalie is freaking AWESOME. What you’re hearing was a track so those backing vocals are all her. She would often refer to her backing vocals as the “N” Sisters

I love Natalie Cole! She had many hits in the seventies and eighties! She had one of the best voices in R&B! Check out some of her other his like “Our Love”’, “Inseparable”, “Unforgettable (duet with dad)”, and “Pink Cadillac”!❤❤

Coming from one of the most famous father's in the industry I think Natalie Cole made the most extraordinary impact of having talent coming from a famous extraordinary person who made her own imprint. She has an extraordinary and versatile catalog. The comments are giving great recommendations from her however if you ever get the chance please react to my favorite La Costa which always put me in a delightful mood hearing it on my way to school every morning.

This is one of my favorite Natalie Cole songs. I think the words are so romantic. "You've given me the thrill of a lifetime, and made me believe you got more thrills to spare!"

The 70's were just the best for music. The tracks you've chosen the past couple days are really excellent, so much variety! Love Natalie Cole, this was a massive hit. Definitely hit her duet with her father "Unforgettable" next!
