I was also there that very day. I'm a former SoCal resident and still a Disneyland AP holder, now living in Northwest Arkansas, and I was able to make there for the 60th as I did 10 years earlier for the 50th, both on the same dates 7/17 - 2005 & 2015. Days and moments I'll never forget. It truly was wonderful, magical, and spectacular.

We finally go to Disneyland next week! (Keeping an eye on the I-10 situation) I spent the 60th watching a pair of DVD sets I have: Disneyland USA and Disneyland: Secrets, Stories, and Magic. These were part of the Walt Disney Treasures Collection (recognizable by their metal tins).

Ahhhh one day I hope to go to Disneyland. The closest I've been to a Disney celebration was for WDW's 25th when they made the castle a pink birthday cake. I can't say I was a fan of that.

Thanks Walt!!! I'm in Oregon, I celebrated by watching the televised opening day on youtube. Question about Lilly Belle, do you have to make reservations well in advance? I've seen from old forums online that you can ask at Main Street station early in the morning, and you MIGHT get a chance to ride, but I don't know if it's more of an exclusive thing or not. Thanks!

MaydeOfDreams Oh I didn't hear about that one! It's probably because your pass is expiring soon. They do that as you get close to the end of your pass. I had mine I think in February.
