The Gumpert Apollo is extremely important to me because it got me into cars. It was one of the first cars I ever had a poster of. I remember seeing it and buying it at the book fair. What I loved is how badass it looked speeding away from a tornado(yes that was the design, it was a green apollo speeding away from a tornado on the highway). Most people had Ferraris or Lambos as their poster cars but mine was a Gumpert Apollo.

Happy birthday, Horizon!! I have been driving here for that period and have had tons of memories, long ago and recent alike. When Horizon first came out, I was already a fan of Forza Motorsport 4, and I was excited to see how it would be managed in an open world twist. Nowadays, Forza Horizon is pretty much the series that comes to mind when I hear the term “open world racer”. Playground Games has never disappointed, nor will they ever. Here’s to this series continuing far over the horizon! 🥂

Happy birthday Horizon! I really enjoyed playing Horizon 1-2 on my 360 and it still brings me a lot of good times. It’s something I would play all day instead of A9 on Switch, since the current update on it has bugs and there’s too much events going on. It feels like a job but I’ll try to get a series. X/S so I can join in what I missed out. Can’t wait for another 10 years.
