@@christycullen2355 that and the studio itself and microsoft have pushed this game to be a very family friendly game, thats why street racing and themes appealing to teens and young adults are no longer apparent. every game after fh1 has been e for everyone and every game after fh1 hasn't really had a story other than maybe fh2 and fh3. i really with they would "reboot" the horizon series with a solid singleplayer story and for the player to make a noticeable impact on the world, thats what I really loved about fh3, the idea that you had to "build" the festival and get people hyped for it, fh1 is my favorite because it makes you feel like someone. I get on fh5 and I drive around for 30 min to an hour with almost no purpose, even if I go to a friends house we just build a car and take turns driving around somewhere

I wouldn't say the Impreza/Evo X at the start breaks the challenge rules, since you are forced into one of them no matter what. Kind of in the prologue kind of stage still at that point, so apart from that one time having to spend money, it is certainly a doable challenge in FH1. And was a good run too from you, were there for the stream & darius got a right licking from the Group B goodness at the end

Is there a way to sell it and then go get an AWD Barn Find to participate in that race? And there is no way for the race to be skipped?

@@Peelster1 Nothing you can do to skip it, unfortunately. Barn finds only unlock when the wristband levels increase & whatnot, so there is no way around buying one of those two cars. And like i'd mentioned, i wouldn't really consider it failing this kind of challenge as you are forced into getting one of them, being more of a tutorial kind of stage at that point still.

@@societyisboring One of them would be a second starter in this case, you pick between one of the two, being a good rivalry since they are the ones they are, and can be a showing of which one is the better. But either way, that's a good point, they could be the other starter like you'd said

Barn finds are a big part of this run, i imagine, But whenever i see barn finds in forza horizon, all i can think of is my dad's car. He has a Morris Minor 1000, and the funny part about it is that it was sitting in a barn ever since 1974 after the owner got a newer morris and forgot about it. so my dad quite literally has a barn find as a car. That makes barn finds in the FH series extra funny to me. Also, what if you waited for a barn find to show up before you did the first event? if there's a C-Class car available then you can do the first event without spending money.

FH2 on Xbox One would arguably be harder to beat before Mom says dinner is ready, since the 360 version is pretty easy to beat quickly. On 360 you can simply fast travel to the destination hubs, an easy glitch to get 999,999,999 CR once you get Fast Travel Anywhere (assuming you're playing on an emulator or delete the Title Update File), and buying new cars isn't actually required.

Marko Baran have slowed down because on that turn when you turn on track help or brake help whatever is it ( the line that shows you the best way ) when go to too fast it turns red and bots slow down. That's just how I play EVERY Horizon - don't buy a new car unless I absolutely NEED a specific car I don't already own in order to progress. I can't get my head around broke Horizon players, and them needing money glitches all the damn time, meanwhile it apparently goes both ways - they usually have trouble understanding how I'm sitting on 10's-to-100's of MILLIONS of credits when I tell them I just play the damn game...

We talking the Xbox 360 or the Xbox One version? You indeed don't have to spend anything in the Xbox 360 version, but in the Xbox One version you have to obtain new cars and it's extremely difficult to do so without spending anything. I believe the only ways you could is from the gift cars from Turn 10, but I don't know if they're still possible to obtain, or the DLC cars, but it's not longer possible to purchase the DLC packs anymore. The only way you can at this point is time now is to level up and pray that you get cars from wheelspins, but that would be super time consuming to do.
