Probably the most bang for your buck game I bought in my life ($15 for 600hrs), only behind Left 4 Dead 2 ($3 for 5k hrs) and Terraria ($5 for 2k hrs).

sometimes those are the best experiences. while yes AAA games can be bangers, but a good AA or an older game will give ya just as much. I never tried Terraria is it good? L4D was an amazing time growing up!

I knew about the game since the release but only started playing it a few days ago and I'm really enjoying it. I only hope I won't get bored of it soon.

honestly perfect time. with two big updates since launch, you do have a lot to dive into. And some release pain points got smoothed. If you are playing solo, feel free to mess around in the settings. enjoy the ride!

@ The first day I fell in love with the pals, pet them, so cute and felt really bad about killing them, but now I'm desensitized and make sure I take 12 of each for the exp bonus :)

I'm REALLY hoping PocketPair makes a Pal or updates Medicine Maker Pals to have them take eggs from the Breed Farm to nearby Incubators automatically as well as hatches eggs that are done incubating, in the next update or at some point in the future. Breeding is the Endgame in Palworld, so it just makes sense to me to make it something to make that grind easier, like Yakumo was in the Sakurajima update.

Thats not bad idea yea, breeding is a bit manual for sure. if the eggs could be moved that would be a nice change of pace

I've really enjoyed Palworld; gifted it to a friend and I rarely send gift games because I don't know how the games will turn out and I don't want to dish out support to a company that will turn around and abuse that trust. PocketPair has earned my trust, and even gave FREE DLC attached to the game if you already bought it. I can't remember the last time there was free DLC on a fully-priced game in the past decade, but I would welcome examples because there are many games I do not know. GameFreak is cowardly and complacent and use Nintendo as a bonus shadow to loom over PocketPair in attempts to cow them into backing down from becoming popular and stealing the limelight of the monster-catching genre, and I'm glad PocketPair was ambitious enough to politely give the middle-finger and go ahead with teaming with other companies just to keep the ball rolling. If GameFreak wants me to buy a Pokemon game ever again, they need to step up or step aside.

Yes the updates are amazing, tho remember this is still work in progress game so once fully completed, they may do paid DLC, but I agree with you at that point if that does become true, they have earned it. This is an complete experience. Pokemon Co, can learn from this, but will they, seems like noo.

my experience just comes from offline play either solo or with friends. the game is somehow better than when it released in early access back in 2024. one of my main gripes with the game is when the game is in late... the only relevent types of pals are dark and dragon with little to nothing else for the other types.

i agree I think they cooking up something really good with full release and I do hope it allows more uses for other types or expands on it.
