Beautiful message! This video made my day! We only have 3 children but I have been told many negative things from family members that we should just stop having little ones. Why? My Father in heaven has provided me with the ability to carry life and we are financially well off. Not only that, but you get to experience the beauty and creativity our God has with each new child. It's amazing and humbling. Our God is so loving!

@backtalker46985 жыл бұрын
"How is God going to make someone with expectation that their not going to be able to be cared for." I disagree with most of this. In my opinion, at some point, it becomes irresponsible having a certain amount of kids. It just so happens that with their family, they have the temperament, resources, and the correct family structure inorder to make this work.... and that's good for them. There are plenty of kids being born, created by God and are uncared for, abused, abandoned, or born into toxic situations and families. Of course, in a healthy, stable, structured, financial secure environment, kids can be born, rather it's four or seven, with the capacity of being loved and supported. At the end, it's really a decision each individual family needs to make. I personally see you with a fifth child. Maybe a couple of years down the road. You've cultivated an environment in the home that will produce most successful and well rounded children. Not every family has done this... And having an X amount of children can be extremely irresponsible. God gives men and women the power to create life. With that power, men and women need to choose wisely about creating new life. God gave US the power. WE choose. I like when your wife said, "I did a good job." Because she did. When she chose you she already laid down the foundation upon which life would be nourished on. God gave us free agency and the power to create life/ cultivate life. It's US that's doing the making. And it should be US making sure that new life can be brought in and cared for.

I love my children! And it can be tiresome. But God gave them to me...it wasn't until we had our first child that I realized something of myself...I have never fully given myself completely to anyone! Not even to my husband. Marriage and childrearing shows how love is not a fleeting emotion but sacrifice. Just like Christ has shown us on the cross. In our American society, everything is "me centered". When I got my degree from college it was about ME. When I got my first big paycheck from my first career it was about ME. When I bought my first home, it was about ME. It wasn't until God woke me up and faced me with my own selfishness and mortality that I realized it was empty. Before marriage and family I would have left the earth with no legacy and no sacrifice. My life would have been filled with me centered, empty goals.

YOOO!! It's like a crossover of my two favorite channels!! So glad you guys did this!!! As the oldest sibling of four, I can attest to the need for individual time with the parent even if it is only for a few hours. However, having a lot of kids can be stressful for the oldest child. In my case I had a lot of responsibility because both my parents worked, so I taught my siblings how to do a lot of things growing up and was ultimately responsible if anything bad happened. But on the bright side it was definitely for my own benefit, I matured quickly and learned responsibility early in life.
