I loved Jimmy on rogan but rogan was so off with him and barely got into conversation with him. I’m so glad to watch this interview as it’s a great conversation. Plus jimmys so correct about Irish accents, I live in Derry Northern Ireland right beside the border to Donegal Ireland and literally 5 miles away there’s a small area called muff and the accent is completely different on the other 5 mile direction is Burt and it’s another accent completely. My mum is from Buncrana 14miles into Donegal again a different accent. I’ve been asked over the years if I’m from Buncrana as I’ve picked up the accent from my mum and spending soo much of my childhood holidays there (buncrana and the whole of Donegal have the best beaches. I’m always surprised that Peter Kay isn’t known worldwide due to his massive well deserved success 🦋
@nyar58639 ай бұрын
That's because Rogan isnt't really a good interviewer and Carr is too inquisitive to let himself just be carried away by his half-informed stoner talk. Also the local accents used to be a thing where I'm from too. In my parents generation, people could tell where you're from because this village half an hours bike ride away had a slightly different sound than your own. It has gotten a lot more similar to the point where a radius of around 50 km while have a very similar accent and then you get slight differences beyond that.
