The site c dam has got the river so messed up that you can drive your car down onto the bottom of the pine River because there is no more water in the back channel towards the ski hill. I used to live down there before hydro bought everyone out. It drives me crazy every time I go down there. The old home site is a camp ground now.

I could walk across the Beaton River in places this fall.
