I'm actually putting up my tree this weekend. I got very sick on Christmas Day and never got to do it. Will keep it up for the month of January. I'm totally for keeping decorations up throughout winter to keep the holidqy soirit alive and well during the gloomy months.

As a landlord here in New Orleans (with some experience, therein, doing wall color in homes) I’ll give my two cents: I think you’ve selected a fantastic color for your walls! The grey w slightly beige undertones lends great versatility to whatever y’all decide to do with the rest of the house decorating. I’ve seen tenants take our grey/beige walls and really lean into a warmer pallet; others prefer a cooler tone, and go in with blues etc - it really works for everybody!

Love the house decor goals. I love grey walls as well as any other neutral colors as a "base" and then add more color with accessories. Your hair looks soo long and thick! I think the trims and strengthening will be better going forward to improvise breakage. As for the new vlogging style, a day in the life style vlog of you going to school studying, shopping, cooking, etc would be fun to follow. It doesn't have to be too in depth but something once a week doing that would be fun.

You may want to consider a few textured walls,I came to the realization the with my home that it doesn’t matter what colour I choose to paint my home, it’s the fact that all the walls are the same, and I’m thinking that what most likely driving y’all nuts too… textured walls will help bring character to the home.

Not nosferatu’s bachelor pad LOL. Awww congrats on finishing the first part of your course. And what a coincidence! I started making rosemary water and using that on my hair too. Huge difference in terms of softness and shine. Also I’m using just curling creams to seal instead of like butter or oil. I think that’s helping my hair feel less dry tbh. My goals: practice sewing, practice Cantonese (my husband’s parents are from Hong Kong), get my greeting card business up and running, be more consistent with exercise, find a job a really enjoy. Hibiscus makes a great hair mist. It has vitamin c for the chlorine in tap water plus iron and lots of antioxidants.

Hi Joyel, Could you please create a video on how you are applying hair products? I like to blow-dry out my hair too before styling, but I'm confused about whether I should use a heat protectant first, blow-dry, and then apply the LOC method, or if I should apply all the products before blow-drying. I really need your help! My hair is finally starting to grow beyond the length it has been stuck at, mostly because I’ve been getting professional trims. However, I still deal with single-strand knots, and my hair gets dry in the winter, so I need a consistent styling routine when I’m not wearing a protective style. This year, I want to focus on length retention and hydration, so I’m looking for a better styling method. Thank you! Best wishes on your journey of home decoration and in achieving your personal goals. Some things I do to create warmth in my home is adding lots of plants, I also thrift a lot of decor to give my house more character and its pretty affordable.

I love the plants ideas! I apply my leave in conditioner and heat protection spray on damp hair, blow dry, and then apply more leave in on my ends! I'll do an updated hair routine video as well! 😁
