Donate $50 or more to receive your James Webb Space Telescope Ornament (shipped within continental U.S. only): www.paypal.com...
The past year has been challenging for everyone but in the midst of all the struggle and confusion, Kopernik has been able to continue our mission to help us better understand how the world and the universe work. We started the year closed to the public, but learned how to navigate the pandemic, and were able to safely re-open to the public for programs, summer camps, and school trips.
We are closing our 2021 fiscal year and planning for 2022, during which Kopernik will develop a new Strategic Plan that will position us to more deeply engage in STEM education both in the school classroom and out in the community. If you are in a position to help us with a monetary donation, please click on the link above so we can continue to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. Any amount is appreciated!
For those able to donate $50 or more, Kopernik will send a special gift (to continental US addresses), an ornament commemorating the recent launch of the James Webb Space Telescope (see video). Created by Kopernik educator and Livestream Astronomer, Jeremy Cartie, the 3D-printed ornament is 6.75 cm (2.75") in diameter. At 1:100 scale, it depicts the mirrors that will make up the largest telescope ever launched into space.
Thank you for your continuous support.
