@PDizzlexoxo erm .. no. the second scene is actually pretty much the ending of the game as darkforce lost all of his mutas and couldnt rebuild fast enough to hold the following push. and to all of you saying its worth nothing because he lost his whole army - dont you think trading armies like that is a LOT more cost efficient than to just a move and lose your whole army to like 5 banelings?

@LordCbass I guess it's done with fast boxing. He draws a box around his Marines, sends them away, makes the next box, etc. It's not control groups, because you can notice that some marines move with different groups.

@WTFBBQ888 He isn't using patrol to split. You can see it's done manually since the marines that are split off stand still for a second or two rather than immediately run back which happens with patrol.

@Htlinez Engaging on creep tends to help with that :) or using fungal... or using speedlings to prevent the marines from stutter-stepping back and if all else fail then ultras, mass roach/broodlord can also deal very easily with marines. As have been proven plenty of times.

@Steevy84 Do you even play Starcraft? Micro alone doesn't win battles, it helps (a lot in this case) but it isn't the sole factor. Happy was horribly out of position and was caught unsieged at an opportune moment by Darkforce.

@TomValedro Yeah, I guess its because other than microing against units, you also have to micro your way out from the pathing. BW with improved pathing and infinite unit selection (I'm a casual player) that still has the "micro tricks" that it previously has (Vulture Patrol and all) would be amazing :D

@ReconBreeze Because micro is the be all and end all of Starcraft 2, right? Just because Terran micro takes more skill doesn't mean that Terran overall takes more skill than the other two races as it doesn't and all three are about the same to master once you get to a high level of play.

Agreed. Terran has to do all that micro to even have a chance for an even exchange, while zergs can a move and usually come out ahead.

@ReconBreeze But it's the same story for Zerg. Zerg macro is (arguably) harder than Terran macro at the lower levels as you have to constantly keep an eye on your larvae and keep injecting constantly. Zerg is also more of a reactive race than the other two. Terran micro may be harder at lower levels but Zerg mechanics are harder to gain the hang of at a lower level as well.

@Sajiki902 that isn't what his APM is doing taht was about 100 APM, the others were re-enforcing/splitting banelings/spltting mutas, i think that you don't know how hard it is to play zerg, terran is also hard (I play random)

His style is really different from almost anyone else. Most people split marines to minimize damage and expect them to die to banelings. He splits them, but brings the marines that aren't shooting back into the fight to do more damage, which requires a lot more APM that normal splitting... I don't think I've even seen the Korean pros do it this way.
