I am the dessert maker of the family. I made my mother's pound cake with chocolate frosting, a cheesecake, and this year it cracked. I was kinda upset about that, usually it turns out perfect, I am blaming it on the weather. LOL My nephew does not like cream cheese so I made a pecan pie. My family does the rest of the cooking. I am thinking about yall this Thanksgiving. It is so very hard losing our fur babies. They give us so much love and happiness and all they want is a little food, water, a good home. I have a cat and she comes first. I do without just to give to her. I tell her every year that Santa Kitty will be coming to see her very soon. LOL She is my child since I do not have any kids. @@kendrasmith6637 Awww, thanks for the kind comment! I made sure to include Big. T's tag as that was a special item he wore and I'm so glad that Karen and Mike kept the tag as a way to remember him. I enjoyed that he was included in every road trip that was taken and was given such a good life. Big T. especially loved his meals as well and I remember in some videos, I could hear his little bark in the background. I couldn't imagine not being able to have a dog in your life at least once and I'm glad Big T. came into theirs. I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving as well Kendra!🥧🍗🦃

I'm going to the assisted living to eat Thanksgiving "lunch" with my dad. Cornbread dressing and dumplings is my favorite. Mike and Karen, I am so sorry that I have not sent a card or at least an email to ya'll. I have had my hands full with my dad adjusting to the new assisted living facility. I still miss my man, Big T so much. I loved him from a far. I still have the crying spells just like ya'lI do when I think of him. My husband says you would think that Big T was my dog instead of the Friday's dog. I love, love, love, that Christmas ornament. Happy Thanksgiving Mike & Karen & your family, especially Mike’s sweet mother. It’s hard to lose a family member so close to the holiday season, & pets are definitely family. Big T was so precious. He seemed to really enjoy joining y’all on your camping trips. Those trips gave him more time to spend with you. I loved seeing you pushing him in his stroller. He always seemed so happy as you pushed him through the crowds in Gatlinburg. Everybody wanted to stop & say “hi” to him. I know how much Big T meant to you. Just think about all the wonderful memories y’all made together. They will be in your heart forever. He was such a blessing. I truly believe we will be reunited with our beloved pets when we reach God’s Pearly Gates. How wonderful that will be. ♥️

Happy Thanksgiving! This is actually the first Thanksgiving I will be away from home. My wife took a job as a travel nurse and is currently in Massachusetts the next 2 weeks, so we made arrangements for me to fly out Thanksgiving day from our home in Illinois to spend the holiday and the weekend together. In fact, I arranged it with my boss to work remotely the following week so we can have more time with each other and fly back together that weekend. Truly something to be thankful for!

Happy Thanksgiving Mike and Karen! I'm hosting 20 at my house in SC all by myself! I would say My sweet potato casserole is most popular with a lot of people, (my son in law threatens not to come if i dont make it!) but my husband likes my dressing and turkey smothered in giblet gravy! ( we make gravy without giblets too) I'm like Karen, I like it all together! There is a restaurant at Disneyworld at Thanksgiving serves it all on a sandwich! Turkey, dressing, Cranberry sauce it's soooo good! Maybe we'll do that with leftovers! After dinner, guys are going hunting and the grandkids and I are decorating for Christmas and going to see a new movie Friday they've been wanting to see!

I cried during this and I cried when Karen was on her girl's weekend and Mike said he missed his girl and his boy! Just broke my heart but I'm happy you two have each other and a wonderful family to lean on when you get sad and our Lord of course! I love your vlogs and look forward to the next ones! Karen, I've cried a lot of tears and still do every day missing my Woofy Jr. I loved seeing Big T and he'd always put a smile on my face. Absolutely beautiful Christmas ornament with Big T! I’m just getting caught up on your videos. I know you miss Big T. We had a 13 year old chihuahua that passed away 2 months after losing my Mom. That was 2020. We still miss her. We did end up getting 2 more dogs!!! They are Boston terriers, Rosie and Ringo. We got Rosie first and she brought me so much happiness. I had lost my parents 6 months apart and then our chihuahua. Later, we got her brother. Same parents, just a different litter. I hope you will eventually get another dog. I love the ornament! It made me cry… but how precious!!!!! We love you guys here in Alabama!!!!

Not planning on traveling. Our adult children have never really cared about the traditional thanksgiving meal so we are planning on going to Cracker Barrel. That way everyone can eat something they like. We usually try to go to the movies too. That ornament was beautiful. Something special. Just like Big T was and always will be in your hearts and memories.

I am spending the holiday alone. My immediate Georgia family has traveled to Texas to be with her oldest daughter and her family. I work retail/grocery and couldn’t get off to join them. It's always a blessing to see you two. Some years ago I used to have lunch at the diner frequently. I'd get the turkey hot open sandwich but with fries. I loved the fries with it and I used get as much gravy on each fry as I could before I ate each one.. Tomorrow no mashed just fries turkey and gravy stuffing and a veg. We're having pumpkin pie with whipped cream.

Happy Thanksgiving. We usually celebrate Thanksgiving in Texas, but not this year. We had a family wedding a couple of weeks ago in Florida, so will not be traveling to Texas. I remember when we had 35 plus people for Thanksgiving. The number is smaller now because of the older family members passing away. Those sure were good times.
