+Prov1210 It takes time but they exist! My boyfriend actually prefers my hair when it's big and poofy. Seriously it seems that when my hair is freshly washed and styled nicely people don't notice. I find that when my hair is frizzy, undefined, or poofy I get compliments which is weird lol Be yourself and love your hair- the right person will come along and will love it too :)

isilkur same 😂 it's always when my hair is frizzy and dry and in need of a good wash that I get all the compliments. I'm all embarrassed like "please don't look at my hair. I promise it looks better than this" 😂😂

They do exist! my cutest classmates are always telling me how good it looks and they get mad at me when I straighten it. And is true, when your curls look messy or uneven they find it sexier. One guy friend once told me is because it looks like "bed hair" or it makes them think of waking up with you in bed, idk why lol

That's totally true, cuz when i decided not heating my hair, and started embracing my curls my husband was crazy about it, and he said " oh my God, she looks so amazing like this". I also asked him how i look better, and what would he prefer forever, and he just said "CURLY HAIR" undoubtedly.

Aww this made me smile so hard for the past five years I've been flat ironing like almost everyday and when I have my hair in it's natural curls people are always so confused (cause I only do it like once every two months or so) but this boosted my confidence and I might start going natural more often

I was teased for my curly hair in school (I have ringlets). So I always had my hair cut as short as possible. When I was going through my early to mid teens (2000-2005) “the look” was for straight hair. When I got my first job I bought a pair of straighteners and straightened my hair religiously from the age of 17 to 29 because the teasing at school made me think that curly hair was just so ugly. But with age comes confidence and I began to occasionally have my curls on show. The less frequently I straightened my hair, the tighter my ringlets became. Then people started commenting on my Instagram posts/stopping me in the supermarket/approaching me at work to say how beautiful my hair is (I also had a lot of women asking me what products I used despite the fact that I don’t use any). Now I love my curly hair and as a gay man I have to say that other men do really love it too 😅 the look for men at the moment is that ‘backswept quiff’ look so I feel my curly hair makes me stand out and catches the eye of men from time to time 😄 I’ve gone from hating my curls in my childhood to feeling like I hit the hair jackpot in adulthood. 😄 #curlpower

There’s this girl with curly hair at the restaurant I work at who is a server. In the first few weeks I have struck up conversation with her and we’ve become pretty good friends. I work back of the house, so it can be a little difficult finding time to talk to her now, but I still see her occasionally during the later parts of the day. I got up the nerve to ask my supervisor if she was in a relationship since I was too shy to ask her personally and he said that he had heard her ask the same thing about me a few days ago. He said to go for it, yet I’m still looking for a good chance to talk to her. It’s been about two weeks since I have seen her. She still works there but at different times
