Do you guys believe in “the one?”

Yes! However most people don’t really take the time to find the one, they end up settling and that’s why divorce happens

I believe in finding the right person. But in life, it is possible to find more than 1 person due to a spouse passing away and finding another person that the Lord has in store!

I believe God knows us better than we know ourselves. He knows us today, yesterday tomorrow and eternally. And if we give Him the voice to help us make a choice (aka there is a choice to be made), He can make sure that the person He presents is size that fits. Isn’t too small where it’ll hurt, or too big where you’ll have to stretch. I think there are people that just work better than others. Someone whose strengths compliment my weaknesses.. who shares the same values but is different enough where I can yield my will for the sake of this person and grow in the image of God with this person etc.. it is biblical that God opens the eyes of a person to see something that no one else sees. I think God could do that even with attraction when we include Him in our decision on who to date / marry. He cares. And we need to have faith that He can provide in that sense.

I believe in the right person BUT the person can only become it by the fruits they possess within their faith and walk with Jesus (which is why its so equally important to evaluate and re-evaluate Godly character through the model of Biblical love presented in 1st Corinthians 13: 4-8 "Love is Patient, Love is Kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it does not insist on wrongdoing, but rejoices with truth. Love doesn't fail, love perseveres. Love never ends. Is the person kind? Is the person envious/does the person envy? Is the person prideful/does the person have pride? Is the person boastful? Does the person insist on wrongdoing? Does the person rejoice in/with truth? Does the person persevere in their faith with Jesus without giving up? If none of those fruits are present, that is CLEARLY not your spouse/who Jesus wants you to be with/grow in faith with!

This is probably one of my favorite podcast episodes that I’ve listened to. Every single one of yall was refreshing to watch and listen to. Kaleb is so funny and just authentically himself. I was so encouraged by how Jeanine was letting Kaleb speak and complete his thoughts without interrupting, even when it looked like she had some thoughts to share. She patiently and respectfully waited till he was done. Then she would spit some wisdom. I can tell she spends time in the Word. Ryan and Abby compliment each other well and it sounds like they are trying to honor God as much as they can in their relationship. Each person here was so well spoken and spit some Godly wisdom. Great podcast episode!

Jeanine, please stay the way you are! I love your voice and your strong character and your directness in addressing things! I am studying law and my mom is also from South America and my dad is from Austria. In my Christian environment many people judge me because of my strong and extroverted direct character and you make me feel that I am not alone! So thank you for being so authentic and showing that a Christian woman should not conform to certain stigmas, but that there are all kinds of beautiful characters that God gives us! Muchos saludos y bendiciones ❤

1:00:52 “If you’re confused, then he’s probably not interested”. SO TRUE!!! Oh how I wish someone told me this when I was in college. When my husband initially started pursuing me, one of the main ways that God confirmed to me that he was going to my husband: ZERO CONFUSION. From the very beginning, he never made me wonder if he was into me or not into me. He clearly communicated and clarified that he was pursuing me. There were no guessing games at all. I remember thinking “wow, this is a MAN!!” 😂😂

if he struggles with hair, should get or make hats with a silk/satin lining on the inside 👍 it preserves hair more, instead of worsening: destroying it like a lot of materials do (that’s why a lot of ppl use satin/silk scarfs or pillows at night)

Starting the "list your Christian dating ick trend" 50:00, I hate it when Christian dating coaches just say, just be a man of God and he will set up a partner for you. It takes being proactive, because the game is broken on online dating
