@alen74925 ай бұрын
@@vijayvijay4123 Hi. I was smoking for 20 years. If you really want to quit listen: It is not a few days/months process. To completely quit mentally needs years. And since you now know that, you also know that you need to keep the guard up for that long. Guard up means; whenever you have the wish for the smoke, simply be aware that is only your mind wish, and not yours, so you can shake it off. That awareness helped me to quit. Why that works: Mind is waiting for you to agree even partly to the idea, to soften you up (whatever be the reason). Guard fully up is being aware of that and not allow to agree internally one bit. Happy quitting!

Johnny, this was a great video. It's extremely interesting, I've never smoked and always wondered how it happens. Everybody says they hated their first, and I just didn't get it. I've got some smokers in my family, and I know they struggle with quitting. I'm really glad that you've taken control of your situation, and the difference between then and now, really is like night and day. By the end of this video I just wanted to give you a beer and a hug. Keep it up so we can have a healthy and happy Johnny for years to come. :)

I smoked, used opiates, barbiturates and crank from 1997 to 2015. I finally quit in March 2015. It was hell at first but worth it. Congrats to you sir for your success

Addiction is truly a demon. I once tried to stop smoking amd that lasted two years, but life fell hard on me and now I'm back smoking the fumes of death. I've been smoking for eight years now. BUT! I also was addicted to drinking and doing drugs, which I quit doing for two years now. So I will quit smoking. Love this video, Johnny. Keep on living.

Hi. Happy quitting!

i think the biggest thing that people should realise is that smoking is a EXPENSIVE addiction and you could buy a brand new video game every month with the money you use to buy cigarettes.

Thank you for sharing your story. Last week I set a date to quit for October 1st. I just came across this video and wow did I need to hear this. I've smoked for 26 years and I hate it. I will watch this video through the next few months as it truly made me feel more motivated than ever with a sense that I will succeed this time! Thanks again!

Great video man. Cool to hear an honest portrayal about how menacing and addictive cigarettes really are. People who've never smoked don't quite understand how difficult quitting really is, to them, it seems like "hey man, just stop doing it. It's bad. What's the big deal?"

THANKYOU VERY INSPIRING!! I smoked for 30 years, stopped totally with no cravings nothing through laser treatment, then it crept back in that gremlin lying dormant like it was always there just waiting & it was ever so subtle, over the last two years i've tried the laser twice again but no luck this time, I'm 53 & sooooo over it & feel so slack/sluggish/guilty/controlled because i want to exercise again, swim, walk etc but don't cause I feel so hypocritical doing both, I hate the cough & sore throat at times & yes am very thin as you mentioned also. I've never really believed in hypnosis but after listening to you & your story, I will change my mindset to saying to myself "hypnosis works" SMOKING IS SO ADDICTIVE" & yes if you are alone - even harder I personally think! But thankyou again for your brilliant & inspiring story. Best of health & luck to us all! 🙏🙏

I tried to quit smoking several times, patches etc... Never worked. One day I woke up and smelt my clothes and thought is that how I smell. Never smoked again, it was the switch that triggered me to quit. That was 15 years ago.

Thank you for sharing your story. I'm on my day 3 quit and using the patch. Still having withdrawals. I'm determined to quit. It's the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. I'm 63 and have smoked since I was 13. I've been a very heavy smoker most of that time. Thank you for the inspiration!

I can definitely relate to some degree since I used to smoke weed..... And while its not as addictive, it became a bad habit. You have that moment, that first "high", and then you keep chasing it trying to reliving it and its peak. And the funny thing is I didn't inhale it the first time as well. Now I'm only 18 and I picked up that habit a few years ago BUT thankfully I quit awhile back. My dad just stopped smoking cigarettes the other month (he's 60) and he's been smoking since he was 14. You've really done something great for yourself man!!

+Double4anime Maybe if you do it ll the time. I vape weed to sleep whenever I'm stressed and do not find it addictive or bad for me. Well, the bad side would be the munchies and appetite for sex.

I always like to workout after smoking weed it motivates me and makes it less painful to workout. It's always good to take breaks sometimes i go a month or a few weeks without it but, it's very easy to get in the groove of smoking it everyday which i did multiple times a day once.

I only ever smoked when I was with friends in a situation I considered worth smoking, like some night outs, some time after a pen exam, etc. about one single cigarette every one or two months. 3 days I bought my first pack and lighter after a moment of great stress and worries. I am 19 by the way. I drove home feeling disgusted with myself. I got to my apartment's parking lot, punched a wall and tossed the cigarettes and lighter into a trash can and did not bother to look back. I hope it stays that way.
