Creme of Natures know about wash-n-gos already and wouldv'e suggested it for that on their bottle if it was meant for that style.

yeah, but there ARE products that work for wash n gos that don't state specifically that that's what they're for. Eco Styler gels, the original containers, come to mind. Keep in mind, the term "wash n go" is fairly new on the hair product scene, so even products that were intended for what we now consider "wash n gos" would not have had that labeled on the product specifically prior to about 2010.

Exactly they have products for wash and go’s who thought about using “snot” for a wash and go it’s common sense not to use it all over your head Only for edges or slick ponytails. I never understand why ppl use like gorilla snot or cream of nature snot as a wash and go like noooo like it’s thick for a reason to hold the pony tail or twists 😂

I used it on just dry hair amd its still was flaky it held all day and then i brushed it and i saw white flakes all in my brush ans hair. I brushed it out

Great review! I tried this product on a wash and go as well...And yes, my hair was crispy, too. A hot, crispy, build-uppy mess. I would agree that it is NOT good for a wash and go. I would try it for a bun/updo that you needed to last for several days. I was disappointed also because I usually like Crème of Nature products as well :(

Please try it again and use the cream of nature curl activator to break the cast once it's dry. That made a huge difference and the curls were soft. That's the only thing that broke the cast for me.

May I suggest you try the Mielle organics Honey and ginger styling gel. For the texture of it, it surprisingly gave me a good amount of hold. Especially since I have multiple curl patterns. For me it works best with a twist out.

Have you tried Aunt Jackie's flaxseed gel?! It does leave your hair crunchy but once you scrunch that out its AMAZINNGGGG. Like, leaves your hair defined, moisturized, and BOMB for a week!

Yes Kendallwo, I use a dab of Snot for each section of wet hair and the results are amazing. I have fine hair that frizzes easily as this product provides a great hold but it will flake if using too much!

I personally don't like it with my wash and gos, but I really enjoy it for my braids, and when I take my braids down on wash day, I have very nice definition, a TINY bit goes a long way!... If I apply too much my hair will be soooo hard and stiff!

I think since this has such a hard hold, this would be better for ponytails or up-dos. But I saw someone pair this with their new activator and it worked fine. But what works for one person doesn't for another.

This is my holy grail gel (2C/3B), and when I saw you use that much I though "oh no, her hairs about to be crunchier than an onion ring 😱" This is definitely more for sculpting or scrunching in. I usually emulsify it with a little water to make it easier to spread It kinda elongated my hair, but the hold is unbeatable - AND THE REFRESSSSHHHHH Sad you didn't like it, but loved the video

Hello, the next time try it with Cream of Nature Moisture & Shine Curl Activator Cream. That will make your hair be softer. Or you can use one of Shea Moisture's detanglers for a softer finish. I mix three oils in my leave-in and detanglers. Argan oil, Jojoba oil, Grapeseed oil.

I wish I saw this video before I purchased it. Yes the same thing happened to me, my hair was crispy and it was flaking. I wore my hair in a puff and when it dried persons were telling me that I had stuff in my hair. It's not only you sis. My edges are hard to tame and it did tame it until it dried. But yeah... never will make the mistake again. It doesn't work on dry or wet hair for me.

This is a hit or miss product I love my snot from them !!! You definitely have to use this with something not by itself , it's bomb for twist outs for kinky hair like 4b/4c wouldn't recommend for wash and Gos but perfect for twistouts the definition is amazing ! And you can use a lot at one time for example I'd use this to finish of my loc method for a twisout and my hair doesnt become hard

I have the gel, and this is what I've noticed since using it. I used the gel the same way that I used Ecostyler annnddd baby!!!!! It was hard as a brick.Never use too much of it, use a leave in that pairs with the formulation of this product. I used The Main Choice 3 in 1 leave in the second time around. I'll say that my twists weren't as hard, but they were firmer this time around.

They say a little goes a long way. When applying it to your hair don't apply as much gel as you normally do. This will reduce the amount of crunch. Like gels you sometimes get a little crunch which you eliminate with an oil. Yeah but try putting less in your hair and you should be good. How do I know because myself as well as a friend have used this product.

Try using the the Creme of Natural Curl Activator Creme. Then use the snot but put the snot on the ur hand then put water on ur hand n rub ur hands together then put on ur hair

I tried it after it came in my last CurlBox. Thought I'd like it, but it was SUPER flaky after drying. "Hated It!", with 2 snaps and a twirl! Not to mention, they put WAY too much perfume in their line. The spell isn't bad, but it's definitely too strong.

I've used the Gorilla Snot gel and had the same reactions. I've abandoned it completely, because it doesn't even help my edges lay down, instead the hairs curl up. Lol! The onlyest gel I've used that kinda sorta lays the edges and gives hold without crunch and flakes is the EcoStyler olive oil. Otherwise, I just let my hair do what it do. I can't really be bothered.
