Full warding melee armor and accessories with other class weapons for support. This seed and difficulty is already challenging enough, no need to go for anything squishy and triple the amount of deaths that are purely inevitable.

I honestly think menacing is the best for all bosses except mechdusa and moon lord. Iron skin and endurance potions are enough in my opinion.

- Boomstick is better than Undertaker. - The Ice Bow can be obtained from Ice Mimics and Ice Chests. Usually it's a hardmode weapon, but here it's a Pre-Hardmode one, having swapped places with the Snowball Cannon. It's around as strong as a Minishark. - Get Crimtane or Demonite Ore for the Magiluminescence. It's extremely useful in this seed since it removes the dying in darkness problem as well as increasing movement speed a ton.

Having attempted getfixedboi I would HIGHLY recommend Warding prefixes as much as possible. If you can’t get Warding, Armored is a close second.

Full gladiator armor might be worth farming early from the marble biome, it has the cobalt shield ability as the set effect.

Happy here are a couple of tips 1. There is a accessory that can be craft with 12 world evil ore that you can get by bombing the ore and with a topaz you can make an accessory that increase movement speed by 15% and gives you a light arura 2. For the eye you will want a big a arena for movement and good movement accessories and you will also want to have a good pricing weapons will not tell you any more about the eye so you can see the fun 3. I mentioned this last time but I will say it again defense and movement are more important then damage as the boss and enemy will eat you alive if you have low defense and your going to die a lot regardless but if you don't go defensive you will die 10 times as much if you went for damage did meaning you should wear the tankist armor even if you are going summoner you should still wear melee armor just for the defense and you should go for movement so you don't get hit every second with defense and movement combined you should be a lot hard to kill Have fun 🍪🍪🍪

Comments a wee bit late but yeah, early game warding is very useful. I just watched a video by Sorbet Cafe on this. Basically taking 24 damage off of each hit pre hardmode is insanely good, and at this stage menacing is giving you like 6 damage on a hit. He did the math for mastermode, and it's pretty much objectively better all the way up until the endgame. He also broke down how he'd mix and match offence/defense, at most stages of the game, so if you want to give it a skim you can. It's also an hour long video though so..... regardless, love the series, love the content. I think I started watching back at.... Yarin? Yoyo man Johnson. glad to see the channel still going and you still having fun!

I want to say early on, you NEED to separate the pure underground from the evil before hardmode, as you have almost no way of purifying the world (I believe the only way to do so is shimmering vile/vicious powder into purification powder). Luckily, it’s not *too* bad on GetFixedBoi, since instead of the usual V shape, the edges of the world get evil/hollow. The jungle side always gets hollow , and the jungle can generally contain the hollow behind it. The dungeon side remains corrupt/crimson come hardmode, and all you need to do is block the bottom of the dungeon to the underworld, since the crimson can’t get through the dungeon. The surface is actually pretty contained, since Not The Bees! Replaces the stone with hive blocks, which can’t be corrupted. Your biggest concern is the underground desert, as that can EASILY become corrupted. Also where the crimson temples/corruption chasms generate, they can go below the hive layer and require player intervention, but otherwise the world does a pretty good job of protection the small section of purity you have.

Happy i wont lie .its always fun watching your videos. But its a bit demoralizing cous i have over 30 hours in getfixedboi and havent beaten skeletron. Truth be told im doing a strict summoner playthrough. I found the flinx staff worked on king slime but only king slime .I used them to grind for the vampire frog staff and beat the eye of cthulhu , brain of brain of cthulhu and dierclops. I havent tried the queen bee but i think the imp staf is best suted for queen bee.

Hey happy, the skeleton merchant does sell the surface loot. I believe this is the only way you can get it in this seed, as the entire surface is either corruption or crimson. Also said enemies do a lot of damage.

When I beat Legendary getfixedboi solo (every time I played with someone they quit in the beginning and were the host), I played with full Menacing to get as much DPS as possible. Although defense is worth it (or so I heard) and I had to retry bosses more then I'd like to admit, it did end up making me better at dodging, which was the point. Also, note: Don't be a lazybum like me and actually do some prep. I never fish, never build huge elaborate arenas or anything. Although it is beatable and makes you better at the game, you don't want to be refighting the mechs 20 times, especially in this mode (you'll see when you get there)

8:40 Lucky isn't a very good prefix. The problem is that it doubles damage AFTER defence has been adjusted for, which means it's pretty good early on, when enemies have none, or you can only eke out 1 damage per hit (so you crit more often for 2). But once you get to around Skeletron, Bonus Crit chance just loses against the extra raw damage of menacing. If it doubled damage before adjusting for defence however, it would be a GOAT prefix, but alas.

I think you should go warding over menacing, in later stages of the game it makes it such that instead of dying in 1-2 hits, you die in 2-3 hits, which is probably worth it.

Hopefully you dont get over 1k deaths happy! You should bring things like heart lanterns, campfires, and honey buckets on you for quick regen when you get low while exploring. Another minor thing that makes exploration easier and you dont got to travel back all the time when you die. I love your content keep going!

One thing I will never understand is your seeming need to change weapons every 15 seconds. Even if your current weapon is doing fine keeping the enemies away from you. I swear at least a quarter of your deaths are caused by that. But those deaths also tend to lead to your funniest reactions so I wouldn't quite call it a downside.

Heres a tip make sure the evil biomes are nowhere near your main base. I recommend to make boarders around important areas. Otherwise you’ll bring the evil right to your base I didn’t do that for my getfixedboi world.

Warding is best. +4 defense is always more impactful then +4% damage or crit chance. There are math videos that explain it better then I ever could but it's better to get damage buffs from armor and potions.

There is something that I would recommend it is call axe of regrowth which has 150% axe power with the same benefit of staff of regrowth and plants acorns "when cutting down trees" By the way if can be get in prehard mode
