That could still take months to come out. Like Chippy said in his vid, ReLogic has been very slow with their update releases. So even when they say "it's looking good", it could still mean they're going to take another half a year to even a year until the update finally releases. I'd personally say to release the updated videos now, but I realistically don't have much sway in the decision.

You should be aiming for an equal amount of Damage bonus and Critical hit chance for maximum DPS but never more than 100% Critical hits Because +200% Damage 0% Crits =300%dps +100% Damage 100% Crits =400%dps +0%Damage 100%Crits =200%dps +0% Damage 200% Crits =200%dps This can be further expanded to attack speed where again you would want an equal amount of each however attack speed is more complicated than Damage and Crits because attack speed is often a limited by rounding to the nearest frame Additionally there are some Damage bonuses like the Shroomite arrow/bullet/rocket bonus that are mutiplicaitive

@@Dante-hd4pf they do because they're percentages. 100% crit chance is the highest it'll go so the max you can get is double damage. 100% damage boost also doubles damage (so there's 200% damage per second), 200% damage plus 100% chance to double damage = 400% damage per second

Just going to mention this here, the Stinger Necklace isn't that good, the Armor Pen it has barly makes an impact after PH, and while the Honey buff on hit is nice, there are other Honey Comb combination accessories that are better if you want to still have it, since armor penetration is pretty bad as anything under a full number is rounded down the 5 Armor Pen you get from it, means that you reduce enemy defence by 5 point, and since Enemy defence is always 50% effective, this means that 5 Armor Pen can be looked at as +2.5 damage per hit, but since this is rounded down to just +2 damage it really isn't worth it after your weapons base damage gets over 30 damage as then it's less then 10% damage which most dps accessories already cover. This is sadly the case as well with stacking armor penetration, with both versions of the Shark tooth necklaces onb you get 10 armor pen, or +5 damage, which means for 2 whole accessory slots you get generally a 10% or so boost in mid HM, and if you include the Sharpenning Station as melee you cna get up to 15 Aromr Pen with a total of +7 damage after rounding, which is not nearly enoufg to justify the slots used, but as melee the Stinger Necklace is more worth it as the Sharpenning Station makes Rounding not effect the out put, so you can get decent use out of it, till arounf post-Plantera. For those that are playing modded like calamity, where with an ok build you can get up to 45 Armor Pen, meaning +22 damage, by the time you get to DoG, you need tokeep in mind, that unlike in vanilla, Calamity has enemy Damage Reduction, so Armor Pen is even Worse there, as that +22 damage generally gets cut by 30% to 40% DR on bosses, so it closer to a +17 to +15 damage, which considering the base daage of most weapons at that stage are around 200 to 300 for faster weapons, the effect it would have is generally far worse then jsut another % damage up. Still a Very fun video, Thanks for the fun 30 minutes and the chance to rant about Armor Penetration a bit.

Seeing a HappyDays upload is like having the Traveling Merchant spawn with the item you actually wanted from him. It doesn't happen very often but it's always nice when it does. Something to think about for future videos, you can save money on reforging crafted items by using the Shimmer to decraft them if the modifier isn't good. It takes a lot longer but you cease funding College for the Goblin Tinker's entire family tree.

@HappyDays guess what if you play master mode you can put 7 accessories and endgame you can wear Ranger,avenger,destroyer emblems,sniper scope,recon scope,putrid scent,celestial shell. For mobility fishron mount while wet and any shroomite helm depending on playstyle weapons or less mobility more damage full vortex while stealth mode. Honorable mention archers wear magic quiver,stalkers quiver, and molten quiver for maximum damage.

Honorable mention to the Endless Musket Pouch and Endless Quiver, available in stage 3 and very useful. Also honarable mention to wearing the FULL Frost Armor set as a Ranger, as it simply adds Frostburn to all your ranged damage, which is very useful against most enemies.

Tip: Weapons that can be crafted (ex. Phoenix Blaster) can be de-crafted in the Shimmer, and then re-crafted at the appropriate crafting station, giving it a chance to have a new modifier. It takes longer than using the goblin sometimes, but it won't run your wallet dry!

Something to keep in mind before you trash your Copper Shortsword for every start of a playthrough as a non-melee class, you can just toss it at a random slime to make it into a Squire Slime. Whatever will help enable Pylons and such. Otherwise, great video!

Something to consider about reforging is while all modifiers CAN be used, the game is pretty balanced in that regard, but mathematically Warding is the most impactful modifier. Overall it's not super important, but turning a one shot boss into a two shot boss is huge. It also tends to make fights faster or equal to the damage modifiers when playing single player. Again, overall not too important but it is worth noting. BUT what is even more important is what the PLAYER finds fun. I always play Warding builds, it's what I find most fun, but I have a friend who always plays Menacing because it's what he likes the most. Play what you want because that is how the game was intended to be played, we wouldn't have options otherwise.
