As a Summoner Main, the tag damage DOES stay even if you switch off the whip, and will even stack with the tag damage from other whips, however, it does hace a limited duration. Think of it kinda like appling Ichor!

Both of the crimson and corruption bosses are awful roadblocks in the GetFixedBoi seed, being much bigger than normal, but I've always found the Eater of Worlds to be the worst of the two due to arenas on this seed almost always being boxed in. That worm is a monster. Do not approach the worm unless you're ready for your death count to triple and a fight with so many projectiles you'll think you're fighting the Empress. Brain's second phase has a pretty simple trick where once the weird gravitation effect comes into play, stand still on solid blocks and he'll (about 80% of the time) only come from above you. Any fast weapon or a weapon with good knockback can keep him at bay and summons can help you passively see which side he's coming from! Like a normal brain fight but super disorienting and taking way longer due to his higher defense. My biggest weapon recommendation is to pick up the Trimarang, it's normally a bit of a grind in any other seed but due to how the biomes are laid out on this seed it's much easier to get and is an incredible upgrade! Both bosses are MUCH faster, BOC being three times as fast in it's first phase and the EOW being a death jet engine. Don't try to rush and take your time, but if you find either fight too challenging for this stage of progression it might be better to try to pick up as many scales/tissue samples as possible and to come back with later stage equipment. GetFixedBoi is a seed that sometimes makes you need to skip around progression a bit, but it's definitely do-able at this stage! Just very... very... painful.

​@@ratman1125 Yeah, worm cheese is an option too, but even without cheese I find worm the easier of the two honestly. I find full potions and a good arena to work just fine with warding accessories, meanwhile brain is rough for me personally.

I found Brain of Cthulhu to be easier than Eater of Worlds when I attempted this seed. For an arena for either of them, gather a bunch of crimstone or ebonstone using explosives and place them on the edge of the island in hell to make a biome. Make sure you have enough in the floor and the ceiling so you’re always in the biome. To prevent the biome’s enemy spawns cover the tops of the blocks in a different block like grey bricks, clay, ash, or wood. You don’t have to worry about biome spread from this, since there’s mushroom biome above you

My tips: for this, try and kill an ice mimic for a frostbrand or an ice bow, as the frostbrand still deals the 80+ damage and inflicts frostburn. Also try and get jungle armour if you go mage. if going melee, getting molten armour is going to be a pain

By the way happy, the idea of melee and warding is all about the enemy projectiles doing a lot of chip damage, so high defense stat makes the projectiles a LOT less dangerous. There are still the big melee attacks to watch out for but those are a lot less likely to be fatal if you aren't already low from enemy projectiles. That's the hidden value of warding, that it saves you mostly from just barrages of enemies shooting stingers or fireballs at you. I used to always be a menacing player but legendary getfixedboi made me change my mind and like warding more :)

There is a cool spider biome farm where to set it up, you just build a 1 block wide wall of dirt or something, and use sticky bombs to blow it up. it will blow up some of the walls, but this allows them to fall into the center where the standard volcano trap can be build. you can set it up in prehardmode so you can get really easy hardmode weapons off the bat.

The Dungeon is under a living tree in this seed. I think searching from the surface is faster. You can try to fish for Angel Wings in the sky islands, wings should help you a little more while searching the surface.

Happy happy, you should start fishing up some special fish in all the different biomes. By doing that you also get regular fish like bass and such so you dont die due to hunger!

If I remember correctly, the reason Melee is so good for this run is because the shear amount of damage that all of the enemies do and how much of a difference the extra armor on all of the melee sets provide. I would personally go for a Blade of Grass and some Platinum Armor before fighting any more bosses. You already have Spectre Boots, Feral Claws, and a Shield of Cthulu so your accessories are fairly solid. Just need a Shark Tooth Necklace and a much, much bigger arena and you'll be ready to fight more bosses. I would also recommend making the area/arenas near the entrance to the dungeon, make it in a way that mobs can't spawn naturally inside the arena, and make it close enough to the crimson/corruption that you fight Skeletron, Brain of Cthulu, and/or Eater of Worlds. The time you spend making a good arena could save you lots and lots of time dying to bosses with their new sizes and mechanics. I personally died to Eater of Worlds at least a dozen times before I decided to double the length of my area, and then I got him on the next attempt fairly easily.

Hey Happy, I recommend fighting Brain of Cthulu since Eater of Worlds is very large and there isn't much space to navigate within this world For Brain of Cthulu I recommend using grenades and staying away from the brain itself in the first phase, as you can get easily comboed. For the second phase, I would use the boomstick as it has high DPS. Also, get the Ice Bow since it drops from ice mimics in Pre-Hardmode and it has pretty good damage and high firerate. You should also reforge your equipment to Warding, (but if you get armored you could keep it if you don't have enough cash) because the enemies in this mode hit like a truck. Try not to die! Question: Are the livestreams going to be member only?

- Find the Shimmer and transmute the Pharoah's Mask into a Sandstorm in a bottle. You can also shimmer some cactus into pumpkin for pumpkin pie, as well as get Arcane Crystal, Vital Crystal, and Ambrosia. - Summon tag lasts for about 3 seconds, and will persist even after switching weapons.

You should try it for sure, though if you're nervous do the seed on a lower difficulty. It's still a challenge but at least not as insane as legendary mode. Or join the insane person club and do legendary mode anyway like I have xD, but for me I had to play it so slow and patiently compared to normal.

Happy, with sunflowers, if you place a ton in rows in one spot, it tends to help keep the biome purity/lessens the influence evil biome spread has technically, i've used this kind of thing on normal worlds where i bordered the corruption/crimson biome's surface edge with them, and it basically lessens thr trigger distance for walking into the biome, the same should help in underground areas like this seef where you don't want world evil enemies spawning in areas you frequent

getfixedboi works pretty differently when it comes to evil biome spread than normal worlds honestly. The way the world generates, especially when entering hard mode, is actually quite different. The biggest threat is the desert due to all the hive and mushroom biomes all over the place, the rest of it is *mostly* safe from spread just due to generation and how the hallow spawns in hardmode

You could also try using jungle armor. It's only 2 less defense than shadow armor, and is a magic set you can have more options than just melee. There's actually a few ways to let other classes have good defense without going melee the whole time.

the blade of grass is really powerful and easy to make so if you ever decide to go melee it's a must have, its also really strong against the brain of cthulhu due to the knockback and its projectiles. also, remember to take a break if you feel like youre uploading too much

Weirdly enough, I would recommend fighting queen bee first. In my experience, she is easier than EoW and BoC plus it’s pretty easy to find a bee hive (they are huge from drunk world). Just be careful, the bee hives have blood moon spawn rates and multiple larva, but it’s still less painful than setting up a corruption/crimson arena.

Happy here are a couple of accessories that I would recommend bundle of balloons, frogs leg and any lighting boots of above with these 3 you will have a lot of mobility, and as which world evil you should go for go with the eater and make sure you stay underground for it 🍪🍪🍪

Happy .Try to get the refrog staff it does carry well.In terms of other wepons .The blade of grass/lights bane is a good option,boomstick/minishark with tungsten bullets, tendon bow/marrow with jester arrows,vampire frog staff and snapthorn. Try get all the relevant classes buffs.I find the wel fed buf works realy wel with the buf from cake for mobility even if you dont have the swiftness potion.

Side note Try to defeat dierclops before brain for the magic and sentrie wepons. The best way o found to do this was to have a decent arena where you have at least 1 platform above the ground.Have a spawn point nearby but off screen due to dieclops wandering of but not despawning form time to time. You do need to watch out for the ice attacks where they shoot out of the ground, they can move from the ground to a platform. If you are on a platform or near the platform in the air you can trick dierclops attacks to miss.
