We opened our mobile coffee trailer in September 2021!
This is a day in the life of the mobile coffee business where I will share how we set up, what our coffee trailer looks like inside and how a typical day unfolds in the coffee business. I know you guys said your town pop was about 12k and you were on a busy road, do you remember what your daily was? or if you wouldnt mind disclosing your appx average daily? Tell me how this plays out I would love to do the same and my mother actually helps clients and business and takes proposals to the bank . My parents are accountants and I always had a thing for small business owners never really been into the whole chain thing. I have a cousin who owns white tale coffee out of Denver he's a coffee roaster. But seriously let me know .. @@peterlopez1851 we had 2 running at at time, and broke about 4 so finally had to level up and got a professional machine. Those Brevilles are great until you start doing high volume, and they take longer to steam. The new machine steams so fast!

We can travel, but the roads in shreveport are so bad for the trailer travelling with all the machine/product inside...we try not to go through Shv But we could come for a big event sometime!

Hello love the video so I want to start my own coffee mobile trailer this year can you please let me know what will my costs be how much a trailer like that will cost me and machines please ?

We are working on putting out a video to break that down. but the trailer itself is about 5-8k depending. Then you have to do the inside (tables sinks, plumbing electric) so it all depends, we did ours ourselves. Machines also vary, we just got our legit machine and it was 7k. So there's some ballparks for ya. stay tuned for more videos !

I have more videos showing the machines we have 2 breville pro's. they work wonderfully (use dual wall insert in portafilter) we have had to redeem our warranty on one...no problem there... love them because we can use what water we want and don't have to be hard wired to water and ..well they are cheaper and pull an amazing shot, steam milk well. monday- friday 7-1 I don't have a cup count, but we did well even in the slower months. Where are you located?

We park in someone elses lot with permission, (shared lot) its a big lot allowing drive thru, that is good for us since the other coffee shop does not have a drive thru, and it is often HOT or rainy here in louisiana. Having a permanent location allows us to have regulars and also a google location and door dash service.

We have a deal going with the other person in the lot yes. Actually one of the employees there was getting our coffee and that's how we met the owner. Find a business that wants you there to increase foot traffic if you are a walk up place... we are drive thru next to a physical therapy office and next to a tanning place and oil change place.

How was sales first week I'm opening my coffee shop

The first week- well we didn’t have enough vanilla ordered haha I think I had like 2 bottles. Ended up running all over to try to find some. But to be completely honest with you, it took us like four months to really get going. There were some days that were really slow. You just have to hang in there and be consistent. Tell me about your place what state are you in? And is it a mobile shop or a regular coffee shop? Do you have a Instagram or anything I can follow you?

We have been using breville pro machines (2) and they have given us a great start. We are getting a different machine next month! Brevilles are so great, I have a video all about them with pros and cons...check my coffee truck playlist :)

The trailer was about 4k, he built out the inside, plumbing, etc another 3k. Then equipment depends on what kind of machines you get. If you have someone else build it for you it will cost a lot more. :) I also teach online in the afternoons. Good luck to you! Check Webstraunt for your cups/other things you need if there is not a good restaurant store near you. $100 a month and all shipping is free, good deal when you are starting out and need to order a lot or often.

@@HappyFarmsLa awesome! We are in Wisconsin. I was looking for used because I thought they’d be much more costly. We also don’t have a truck and that makes me nervous because they’re so expensive. I’m considering a food truck. Had you considered this and why did you choose a truck/trailer?

@@rachelwilson3162 food trucks are 30-40k you might be able to find a used one for less but most of them are equipped with a hood vent system for frying and cooking and that’s why they’re more expensive. Plus with a truck I have to worry about the engine breaking down but with our trailer we just pull it with our regular truck. We initially wanted a food truck but they’re just so costly I hope you can find a used one! Also most of the people that I know that one coffee trailers or trucks up north where it snows and gets really cold have to shut down in the winter time.
