The Alolan starters are based off of circus entertainers. Primarina being a singer and (more so popplio and its bubbles) a seal/sealion balancing things on its nose. Incineroar is a strong-man wrestler as well as referencing tigers jumping through rings of fire. Lastly decidueye is a sharpshooter and a ringmaster with the bowtie on rowlet.

Like I said, I can see the first 2, but decidueye feels a bit like a stretch to me!

I love these starters a lot especially the first one and the bird one. The Snail, Dragon and fairy ones all have amazing potential with their evolutions. Can’t wait to see what you came up with!

Yep. These were also amazing to watch. I'm a lover of Dragon-types, so Dragator would be my choice. I love the idea that a dragon-type can be a starter. I think that to keep to the Spanish concept of Paldea, naming 'Dragator' as 'Drajator' would most likely work in that respect. Their J's are often pronounced as H's. Can't wait to see what Drag(j)ator's evolved forms will look like. Cheffin was intriguing, and yes, puffins are actually British coastal birds. I also really like how Snurth, Amphilian and Minitor look. I adore seeing Fakemon from other Pokémon fans.

The Alolan region starters were based off of circus performers. The strongman/wrestler, the juggler, and the archer (which definitely were prevalent in early circuses). The RPG Tank makes no sense for that region's theme.

Like I said in the video, to me an archer doesn’t fit in a circus, which makes the rpg theme fit better. A wrestler is a fighter/warrior, a sirene can be seen as a mage or possibly a healer and an archer for sure fits the rpg classes too! 👀

​@@HappyGamerNick Like I said in my previous comment, the archer/marksman definitely fits in the circus theme. Shooting arrows off the top of people's heads blindfolded and trick shots are a thing. Your whole point in your video was to add a Pokemon that fit the theme of the region. You did fine, for the most part, with the other regions up to Alola. While you have the right to your opinion as far as what you think the regional theme should be, that wasn't your stated intent in the video. Even if you don't agree with the theme, challenge yourself to match it if not to at least be consistent with what you said your original intent was. You could've said that the Alolan region theme could have been superheroes. If you are going to change the theme to fit your narrative, at least be creative otherwise it just comes off as lazy. I originally was just stating that the archer does indeed fit the circus theme as historically they were in circuses, but you wanted to get spicy in the comment section. Grow up, not everyone is going to agree with you. 👀👀👀

You do know the themes are not specified anywhere right? I’ve googled a lot before deciding that a lot of people didn’t see the archer in the circus theme. It’s all up for debate, you say circus, I say RPG. I tried to use the theme for the region, but since they are not clearly specified anywhere, it will always remain up for interpretation. You don’t have to agree with me, I was just explaining why I went into this direction! No need to get butt-hurt over that! 👀

i have a tip for you so to make them look more real are match with the starters try using more bright colors and making the heads a bit smaller

I like the ideas behind your designs but if I may, many of your starters look similar. They have a lot of the same shapes and proportions, especially circle heads with similar faces. I would challenge you to try out different shapes for the head and body. Fuecoco and rowlet are basically one whole shape for example.
