I use 2mm crochet hook for rayon yarn, 5mm for milk cotton yarn, and 8mm for plushie yarn 🥰

You can’t do a sc, inc x6 in only 6 stitches, so I’ll just do sc,inc x3

They meant a single crochet increase, so an increase in the form of 2 single crochets per stitch, sorry for late reply but hope that helps!
