Thank you Robin you saved the day again. I'm doing a baby blanket that has a applique on it. They wanted me to hot glue it on. I thought there had to be a better way. Especially for a baby. Thank goodness I checked first. Up popped your video. I really did not want to mess up my pretty baby blanket or hurt a baby by gluing it on. Thank you so much for your advice.

i believe that if you don't want the end just weave it in like u would normally do with crochet projects(you can search up how to weave in ends in crochet)

I have a couple of questions-first, when you finish off or knot the yarn after sewing on the applique,m does the knot show through-or rather how do you keep the knot from showing through or making a bump? Also, if you have an applique that has sections of different colors i.e. an elephant with a gray body and pink ears, do you recommend finishing off each color and the starting with a new color?
