MATS ON A CAT IS SO DANGERIOUS, i WISH i HAD MY CAT GROOMED, I BELIEVE SHE PULLED MATTS OUT AND SWALLOWED THEM, AND DIED THE NEXT DAY. IT BROKE MY HEART. SHE LOVED THE CAT TREATS, i BELIEVE THEY HAD SOME THING TO DO WITH THESE MATTS, SHE LIVED TO 14 YRS. i TRIED REMOVING AS MANY MATS AS POSSIBLE. the morning she passed I felt her, and all the matts were gone. and so was she. please take your loving pets in to a good groomer. she was a short hair Siamese. I Miss you Princess. Thank you miss for helping the many cats that need you. I have had Siamese my entire life , and never saw 1 with matts, till Princess. :(
