They were missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in the Cebuano or Visayan region where they have learned the dialect which they spoke really well. They have been home for a little while now.

Those boys walking so awkward holding their shirt apart from their front are newly circumcised. It is usually done during school vacation from March to May for the young boys. Thats a tradition here in the Philippines that all men should be circumcised at younger age.
