2016 Land Rover LR4 HSE Luxury Full Review, Start Up, Exhaust

I absolutely love this vehicle. There is nothing out there that can compete with this SUV, when equipped with the Heavy Duty Package, as the absolute 'do it all' ride. Whether camping off road, valet parking at a performing arts center, taking kids & dogs to the beach, or towing a trailer the Land Rover LR4 does it all. I love the traditional styling as the aero-smooth look is monumentally boring to me. This beauty rolls with proud, upright, British flair. I'll order mine as an HSE Silver Edition as I love the Montalcino Red color and the HSE Landmark doesn't offer that choice. If only I could get 16" or 18" wheels from the factory I would be set. I like your detailed review of this iconic vehicle.

+FlatmanLewis I'm nervous about the 2017 redesign as HQ seems to molding their vehicles to the current design language (the aero-smooth look). The upside? Prices will drop for these "older" models.

Right? That's why I just ordered mine. The "2016.5" as they are calling it, have extra options as LR clears out inventory of supplies. I'm not even remotely interested in the jelly bean shape of the new crossovers and modern SUV's. I want true off-road ability and bold style. I could agree more with you than I do.

I have recently had a very bad experience with my Discovery 4 only 3and half years old. I have done 85k on it, serviced regularly. I was driving recently and the engine ceased. I pulled over to the side and the car wouldnt start again. I towed to my local land rover and I was told the engine is completely dead.I have replace the engine which will cost me £14,800. Land rover has offered 30% of the cost which to me is very disappointing. My car is still with them and I dont know what to do.
