I can't hear this one without tears flowing. I used to sing my wife to sleep with this in the care home after I fed her supper. Other songs also, but this was the hardest. After 63 years of love together she passed just before Christmas 2022.

The day she passed I tried to listen to this song but I couldn’t… it brought memories back of my childhood when she stayed at home and took care of her children. She’d always be playing music - and this song stuck. This weekend will my first Mother’s Day without her… Music has this type of magic - makes the past come alive, certain memories, good and bad. I discovered Anne Murray and he beautiful songs and angel's voice while we were stuck at home during pandemia.I had a big depression but whenever I listened to her songs I felt better.I was listening to her nearly all day long and she gave me so much peace and strengh to wake up everyday that she is part of me now.I've got no words to thank her how much she helped me in those terrible days and still actually.She must be a lovely lady touched with a special gift to get to peoples hearts with her music.Wish I could meet her one day personally.
