Great coaching cues. Easy to remember and breaks down a commonly misunderstood technique. Keep em coming man!

Great throw for BJJ. Technically this version in judo is O Guruma since the thigh is the pivot point rather than the hip.

if my entrance isnt deep and my hip doesnt bump themp first, i usually just bend them over and use my shortness to my advantage. its more like an o goshi sometimes. im down in north carolina right now. i have family up by Cleveland and friends all over that i met while in the Army. i need to start traveling more and widening my knowledge. so many people have different ways of relating info that who knows what ive missed out on so far because it just didnt click with me at the time.

BOOM just like that we are friends ... The best part about the internet is how we can all share knowledge like this and meet from a good distance away, no jokes tho anytime you see anything in my technique you think you could improve feel free to comment ... Also its never too late to travel

i completely see and known what you mean now. i have seen some bad attempts from beginners that ended terribly. it is never my go to throw, hane or harai, i love to use them as part of a combo. i also find it easier if i change grip. if the person im against is a righty, i go lefty. that helps place weight on their back leg, sometimes anyway. im sorry if i came off a bit sarcastic. it was, and i should have checked my attitude before commenting, but i was in a mood. i had just watched that MMA surge dudes video on osoto gari that just had me floored. crazy stuff man lol. where you guys out of?

Honestly no worries at all, even online after a chat you can usually tell who the good eggs are ... I use a very bent entry for my harai as most of my attacks are done in bjj now but even back in my judo days I would drive their head down then jump under ... We are east coast of Canada, you?

Very helpful. But i have i doubt. Can i do this with my support leg straight, putting my hips in his abdome? Im a tall guy and sometimes its difficult for me bend in my knees
@ZombieProofBJJ6 жыл бұрын
Josenildo I’m not tall so I don’t have your problem lol but read this -> www.reddit.com/r/judo/comments/16rq7x/tall_judoka_problems/?

Dude this is awesome! One question thou, your right arm is it pulling your opponent or is it stiff arm? I can't see from this angle. Once again, great work!
@robystephon2 жыл бұрын
I know it’s been a year so you may have this question answered, but if not then the goal is to lift is high as possible to get him off guard. Both arms are doing the same thing. Your left is raising his arms by the sleeve. Your right is raising his body by his collar. The goal is to get him on his toes and to lean forwards towards you to break his balance
