He's out there in the public area harassing you for planning to fly your drone, which is a perfectly legal activity, and repeatedly walking toward you in a threatening manner. He was actually breaking the law. He was also interfering with a drone pilot, which is probably an offense there in the UK. I'm glad you didn't allow him to stop you from flying your drone and getting the video footage you needed. It's quite interesting to see those historical estates from above.

EG we all know it's against the law to murder someone. So we don't. Same with stealing. Same with putting hands on people in a non self defence situation. Same with self defence. With the laws on flying a toy drone, all it takes is to think about airplanes, helicopters, hot air balloons and then think how toy drones fit into that. Followed by a quick google search if still in doubt.

I often hand launch and hand land my drone when I'm in long grass for example, or when the ground is very dusty so it might be something you should learn yourself for your drones safety from people wanting to obstruct or damage it.
