Salamat sa review, I used the mls 900 on 3 birthdays already and it performs excellent. I don't think I could ask for more money if my speakers are qsc, bose, etc. The customers don't care how expensive is your gear.

Have you had any issues with heat? I used it for a show last night (2 hours) and the back of the base felt quite warm after. Is that normal?

@@JoelByars mine get warm to touch but never hot enough to raise concern. One of the bases did go bad on me though. The tops still worked but got nothing from the base. Luckily harbinger replaced it with no hassle.

Thank you, by far the best real world review I've seen. In digging a little deeper I noticed there is only one treble/bass adjustment. Can you switch between channels to adjust bass/treble or does it adjust all channels the same?

Hi Clife, my use is very lightweight for them. I play a digital organ and I use them to playback piano Trax while I play along with them. I bought two JBL Eon ones which are Super speakers oh, excellent with 10 inch woofers. I was at my local bar when they were having karaoke one night. Not a big room but very loud. We had a substitute DJ and I realized he had a line array speaker. When I looked at it it was this harbinger mls900. I was not familiar with it. But it was blowing the place away. Loud and really with a powerful Bass. It was a much smaller room than this gymnasium. He said he brought two but he only needed one in that room. He used it several weeks. I realized the JBL was Overkill for me. My two JBL Eon one systems are brand new but I'm selling them to a local theater at a discount. Then I will pick up two of the harbingers. When I play with the organ I need more bottom. But I have a subwoofer for that. And I will spread these out, left and right, to get the broad stereo sound of a pipe organ. I suspect much of the time I will not even need the subwoofer. But I will have to try these out with the organ first. Thanks for a good review.

I've had a pair of MLS900s for a couple of months. I haven't tried the JBLs to compare, but I'm continually impressed by the sound quality the Harbingers put out. Sometimes I worry about the 8" woofer but actually it plays loud and clean for my needs. Now, a pipe organ is a different animal, and you'd be pushing limits with something like a contra bourdon stop -- I guess it depends on your music and venue. One significant "con" of the MLS900 is its weak preamps. You'll be much happier if you put a mixer in front to drive the system to full volume. At least, that is my experience. For example, plugging a dynamic mic (even a neodym one) directly into channel 1 or 2 will give you far less than full system volume even with the volume knob all the way up.

The JBL Eon ones were pretty massive compared to the harbingers. I still haven't tried with the organ but I'm going to in a couple of weeks. I started to sell those twice and just pick up a couple of the harbingers. But both times I backed out because, I think the 10 inch woofers and possibly the heavier Construction will work for most of my needs without adding a subwoofer that I've used until now. It's not real critical music, I usually play theater organ Style with theater organs samples, not much Bach or Mozart. Although I think these speakers will handle it fine. But since I have them, I just couldn't bring myself to sell them like I thought I could. Like I said for most people, I think the harbingers would do a great job. A DJ couldn't go wrong with two of those unless he had a massive room. I think for most Country Club parties they would be great.

I just left Guitar Center where the salesman plugged my phone up to one of these and played one of my original songs and just blasted the place and it fucking sounded awesome !!!! However as I scoured Ebay looking for a cheaper deal, several of these are popping up with burnt circuit boards, so now I am sketched out. I think I pay the extra hundred and get the warranty

not sure if i understand the question correctly, but there are two xlr outs; one for the "link" and another for an external bass or speaker. Link is to connect two or more mls together so you can bluetooth to one speaker and the sound will come out on all connected speakers. hope that answers your question.

That's a good question. I can't since they are two different beasts. this is a line array while the zlx 12 is a top cab. when it comes to loudness and kick the MLS would win since it has a 10" bass

For the price, yes. These are great starter speakers. Then when you upgrade to a more professional speakers, you can use these for ceremony.

All dj equipment should be plugged into a line input not a mic input the preamps are totally different. Microphones should be plugged into a mic input not a line input.

The video was blurry but each channel (1 and 2) has switches where you can select Mic, Guitar, or Line. I noticed that when i flip it to mic or guitar the speakers get louder but also clips when i turn the volume knob to 1 oclock. but in line i had to turjn the knob all the way up because im not getting enough sound. if i turn it to 12oclock i had to turn my volume on my mixer way higher than normal just to get enough loudness. Im aware though that Im supposed to use line. I just wanted to address that. thank you for watching
