I just got a Pair of these, I have been using Bose L1 compacts, there is absolutely no comparison between the two, I thought the Bose sounded great until I heard these, the Bass response on these is outstanding. These are perfect with two powered monitors for my 3 piece rockabilly band. We play inside with 50 to 100 people and outside with 50 to 100 people and the things work great. They are half the price of the EV 30s and sound just as good. If you can get past them having a Harbinger logo instead of a Bose or EV logo I would definitely get these.

Question about using just one MLS1000 with mixer. Would I just connect XLR to left stereo output and then 1/4” into top input on speaker?

About how large of a crowd would you say a couple of these could safely handle? Thank you for bringing another fantastic video. 👍🏾

Probably 125 or less. It more depends on the room. You can have 75 guests, but if you have 50 foot ceilings, the sound will bleed upward more than it will outward and the sound might be lacking of the dance floor.

Add a 12 in subwoofer to two MLS 1000. That will definitely blow up the room.

Would you take these over the Evolve 30M if they were the same price?

Honestly, no. The 30M has a more intuitive DSP, way more inputs, & just a better build quality. But, for the price and what I actually use these for (cocktail hour/satellite speakers), they are a great value. They look good, they sound amazing, they have a really small footprint, and they setup & teardown quick.

Turbosound Column arrays are far better than anything Guitar Center puts out. IMO, these are a waste of money.

These are not in the same classification as Turbosound. IMO, turbosound makes some of the worst sounding column arrays I've heard. My go-to is LD Systems, but for the price, these Harbinger speakers are worth what you pay for.

I would love to buy those except to tell you the truth, when it gets time to sell them, its pennies on the dollar. I had a pair Harbinger speakers and couldn't sell them unless I went like 70% less than what I bought them for. Otherwise if you are going to take them to the grave with you, they seem rather nice.

Then don't sell it. It's the perfect cocktail speaker. Super small foot print, wide coverage, easy setup & strike. I still use mine today.

@@djtravismcguire LOL as a dj yourself, youre always upgrading, dont tell me you will be keeping these for another 10 years....proof is that there a popular blonde female dj who vlogs on YT and she's always recommending gear but gets rid of it after 1-2 years, so I asked her about an item she did a vlog about 3 years ago. She replied, Oh thats been replaced by a newer vesrion. Right lady. Why dont you take down that old vlog then? She wont because its still getting views. YT vloggers some of the bigger ones suck balls.

@@oldschooldjernie well I know exactly who you're talking about and the blonde DJ is one of my best friends. Of course she keeps the video up and allows it to continue to gather views. That's the point of the entire "playing the algorithm" game that is social media. I'm constantly updating my gear every year as well. The point of upgrading is to go further than you previously were before. And those DJ's don't suck balls. They are good people.

@@djtravismcguire they suck balls T, and you know it. All they want is monetary value, not to inform people. Its like the IRS posting 1998 tax laws and keeping them up for people to see despite that they are not valued anymore. It doesnt make sense.
