I have the same puller that I tried to use to pull a rusted on rotor. I ended up stripping the treads on the puller. I purchase the hydraulic puller from Harbor Freight and was able to remove the rotor.

Need to lube the threads on the puller and once the puller gets tight stop turning it and hit the rotor on the sides.

👍 Cannot get any easier than that. I have one coming in the mail this week and I will definitely be adding grease. Thanks for the video.

Yup, I just ruined that same puller the first time using it. I lubed the threads but I wonder if I went overboard with the impact. Probably should've stopped and got the hammer after it but I got excited. Gonna see if HF will do a warranty swap tomorrow. If no, I'll probably just get the 10-ton hydraulic puller and be done with it.
