Definitely a great jack. For those wondering about the weight, this comes in right at about 105lbs so it has a bit of weight to it which is a good thing because it's made of heat treated steel. They retail for 199.99 but you can sometimes find a specific coupon for them. The general use 20% coupon will not work on Daytona jacks fyi.

I've had this Jack for about a year now. I use it regularly. Like 6 times a week. It can lift some heavy trucks! I love it. Its starting to squeak now as I pull it. The wheels. I'm thinking of replacing my Jack once a year but I don't know how long this thing will last me.
@NoneMechanic1013 жыл бұрын
It just may need some oil
@michaelthomas29163 жыл бұрын
If the wheels are squeaky, you can remove them and put some grease on the axle, or just spray them with some lubricant if you can get it into the crevices. If you take care of it, it should last 20 plus years. I've had a Harbor Freight ("Central Hydraulics") floor jack for 18 years and it's never given me any issues.
@inmyexpression193 жыл бұрын
@@michaelthomas2916 ok thanks !
@michaelthomas29163 жыл бұрын
@@inmyexpression19 Good luck but yeah, if you take care of it, it should last you 20 plus years. There are some good videos on here if you want to skim a few about lubricating / maintaining them. In 18 years I've still never had to add or replace any jack oil (hydraulic oil). Most of the issues you mention (squeaks) can be solved by some spray lubricant or grease (although to get the front wheels off you likely need to remove the clip that likely holds the front wheels on).

Also bought the Chicago Electric corded Impact Wrench at the same time. My wife used it and loves it. We had to replace our brakes before a trip (wow, almost let them go too far!) I have been lazy over the years and letting my car get serviced by others a bit too much. So with this new jack and impact wrench, that will get me to want to work on my own a lot more unless its just something beyond my abilities.
